Great victory for Grimsby last night against a Man Utd that has lost its way and is nothing more than a club in the following pack in the PL.
It seems years since we had a really big game recently. When was the last?
My thoughts go back to 1992/1993 and the game against Crystal Palace when Nicky Southall fell over and Andy Saville scored from the spot. After the game York Road was bouncing with people streaming from the ground with car horns hooting.
We could do with another!

The Grimsby fans will still be talking about it in 30/40 years. It was a great performance, they "battered" United.
If Amorin gets sacked can you imagine what his CV will look like after getting beat at Cleethorpes by a league 2 side!

yes, low league clubs usually get one chance every 30 to 40 years to shine. it usually happens when nobody expects it to do. i,d actually prefer us to get into the record books this season as the non league club who has got the furthest in the FA Cup since WW2. it would make the club stronger financially, more saleable with fans staying with the club to push up the average league game attendances.
