Words fail. Vindictive and petty - everything we've come to expect from Raj Singh. He'll never grow up.

Not HUFC as a club, anyone who has a clue about football at this level will now realise beyond any doubt what a prick we have as owner. Singh hasn't just shot himself in the foot with his latest childish action he's effectively blown it off and made a laughing stock of himself throughout the nation, which will long be remembered. I wonder what Simon Grayson and his 11 new signings will be thinking upon taking in this stunt?

He'll probably be invited into boardrooms and directors boxes on the basis of being a guest of the home club, so the fact that Raj has removed any hint of him being there as an ambassador of the club will only make Raj out to be a petty petty man.
If I were one of these chairman I'd probably give Jeff the best seats to spite him.

This is beyond parody, putting the pettiness to one side the sheer incompetence of sending that letter almost deserves a round of applause

Did no one at the club say, hang about how do you think this is going to look when
It becomes public ?
It reads as please don’t sit this person next to us !

If he really felt he had to spell it out surely a much more generic ‘please only assign hospitality to official hufc board members the names of which are listed below would have read better than singling people out by name.

What a comedy show

As posted by Stocksfield_Poolie yesterday; 'If the IFR determines that an owner or director is not suitable for their role at a club, they will be removed. The IFR will have enforcement powers to protect clubs from harm the unsuitable owner or director might cause, and to ultimately remove them.'

Could Singh's latest stunt possibly be considered as a) causing harm to the club and/or b) the unacceptable action of an unsuitable owner/director that merits removal from his position? Just a thought.

I was listening to radio Tees sport last night (6-7pm) as I do quite often, the show's host said we have discussion on Boro's friendly at the weekend v Deportivo, reports on Darlo's friendly v Gateshead and Spennymoors game v York, not a mention of Pools, as if we didn't exist, have Tees turned their back on Pools now too due to this spat?

a) yes and b) no.

Don't think a football club owner behaving like a spoilt child is sufficient harm to bring down the wrath of the regulator. Be an even madder world if it is.

Wouldn't be at all surprised, Radio Tees only have so much airtime available for sports broadcasting therefore any opportunity to drop coverage of a local non-league side would allow more time to be devoted to their precocious Borer. Can't honestly blame any respectable organisation not wishing to deal with a club with an a loose cannon at the helm. Having said that, not mentioning Pools dismal performance against Shields was probably a blessing.

Other clubs can invite who they want to invite for hospitality. Singh can’t control that.

He is clueless.

Yeah, you are right - it's highly unlikely that there will be any comeback, its just frustrating that the prick can act like a ten year old, embarrass the club, its employees, the fans, Jeff Stelling and likely his family without any retribution.

That is massively embarrassing. refred

Just when you think things are starting to settle down, after what has felt like the longest close season ever- he pulls this stunt.

What he doesn't realise is that the only person this looks bad on, is himself. It's achieved nothing, other than making himself look ridiculous.

Wonder what the 63% make of it sctatchinghead

Other clubs should respond with something along the lines of "Please be aware that we have invited Jeff Stelling to the Directors Box for our upcoming fixture on the xxth as he he is held in high regard by our Board. Please let us know if any Hartlepool Board Members or staff wish to join us in the Directors Box on that date."

Shows what Singh thinks of Stellings stake in the club! Helps him get ownership then shits on him. Just when you think he can’t sink any lower!

This comes across as very petty and I’m sure most clubs will ignore it. It puts Singh in a very bad light with the fans, the other clubs and the media. A very soft own goal.

On reflection, it that simple spiteful letter is indicative of how the club is run, then everything makes sense now…and not fo4 the better.

Jeff Stelling will now be receiving invites from all the clubs inviting him into the boardroom, he will be more than welcome and there will be seating arrangements made for him. Singh just shot himself in the foot, did he think Stelling was going to gate crash the boardrooms ?

What a petty, small minded man Ray Singh really is. I very much doubt that if Jeff Stelling attended any away games he would want to interact with any of the current board of directors.

If I were the other chairmen, I would ban Singh from my entering my ground in retaliation to the terrible treatment dished out to Jeff.

And as others have said they should invite Jeff as a guest of honour when they play Pools.
Although I do think Jeff likes to stand with the Poolies at away matches he attends.

The sooner Singh, this odorous little man is removed from our club the better!

If I was Jeff, I’d turn up on the terraces. He would get a hero’s welcome from the Pools fans, and probably from the away fans as well. It would also tell the current owner exactly where the sentiment of true Pools fans lies!

He has just done that. He has bought a ticket to be with the fans for the Yeovil game on Saturday.
I'm sure that all Poolies would agree when I say "we're all behind you, Jeff".

I don't think Raj is a stupid man but this is an act of absolute stupidity. Why would you want to disassociate Jeff from the club when he's probably the best and globally the most well known ambassador we've ever had?

Whilst I agree with the majority's view that RAJ is a bellend and I will be over the moon if we can get rid of him.

But on this instance I don't have any issue with the context of the letter.
Jeff Stelling is no longer an official of Hartlepool United and as such should be treated like and normal fan, that is all the letter states in my opinion.
I am more concerned why our esteemed MP Mr. Brash felt it necessary to put his nose in.......he did very little to help force a sale of the club.
I would be more upset with Jeff, if he was pulling the 'old do you know who I am?' routine trying to get into directors lounges for a free pint and a sandwich but I think he happily stand with the supporters and anyway if a club want to invite him in then that is their decision. I hope they do and sit him next to Raj.

I see your pov however why not write a private polite letter to Stelling?

Something like “we’ve had our differences, but leaving that to one side can I please remind you that because of the situation now, you will not be able to sit with me and mates in the posh seats at away games. Obviously what you arrange independently is no concern of mine”
