Why is it most seasons we play the same oppostion in the two league games close together. Last season it was Bury but the coming season we play Southend, Cheltenham and Northampton once in January and the return fixture in February confised

Just seems a bit strange to me confised confised

And both of our games against Huddersfield have been given a Tuesday night slot, I think that will be one less game that we might fill the away end now.

Huddersfield is one of the away games I was looking forward to going to as I know someone from there. But I won't be able to make it on a Tuesday cause of work and stuff. I went there a couple of seasons ago and I do like there ground!

I'm quite looking forward to going there, there was even a slight bit of regret in Gry Jones' last minute header about 7 years ago as I've always fancied going to the New Den

Closest I got to the New Den was on the bus one Saturday afternoon when going back to Lewisham; Millwall were playing the smoggies and we went past the ground at 5:00. I was a little frazzled to say the least!

I used to work in an outreach team in Tower Hamlets, Isle of Dogs...Millwall territory. Thats a job that involves walking round the streets at night "chatting" to local youths to try and "engage" them. Met a few local young black and asian kids inside the centre who'd signed for other clubs as none of them would dare sign for Millwall and wouldnt support them either. You sort of get used to the place after a while, but then again I did commute from Brixton.
I'd hate to have to bring up kids there though. I was there in the late nineties and the local asian lads had already got sick of getting their heads kicked in and had started to fight back.
As Chip says, its all a bit shite in South East London. I was a South West boy for about nine years.
