After a decision that took VAR 8 mins to decide and both sets of fans unhappy with the time taken, should VAR be scrapped?

It is ruining football?
Should referees be better trained and the decison they make part of the game, whether they are wrong or not?

Fans in the PL cannot celebrate if their team scores in case VAR is needed.

I say scrap it, leave it to the referee on the pitch to decide.

Thought it was supposed to be for clear and obvious errors. If going to stick with it has to be a time limit, if you cannot decide for 8 mins it is not obvious.

its annoying in rugby league and thats just for a try being scored. they have goal techknowlegy so what more is needed to attempt to get perfection in the game. stop the play if a player makes a mistake and re start it. referee errors might not even themselves out but they are part of the game that fans expect.

Supposed to be changing the offside rule Arsene Wenger has proposed it has be the full body of the the player in an offside position not his arm, leg etc, seems fair to me.

They'll still take an age deciding if the full body was offside.

if they have to decide it would be better spending time for reasons to give a goal rather than chalk them off. there are 17 laws of the game but only one that they spend time on.

The old rules made mistakes, but you just took it on the chin …it was swings and roundabouts, which I much prefer.

Would be better using a system like in tennis or cricket with each side getting 2 reviews per half instead of reviewing everything everything.
This nonsense of not flagging offsides needs to stop too before someone gets seriously hurt after play should have been stopped.
And take the subjectivity out of handballs, give it every time the ball strikes a hand inside or outside the box, similarly shirt pulling why does it have to go on for quite a while inside the box but are instantaneously given outside.

you can understand why there is a late flag if two players go towards the ball, one onside and the other not and wait to see which one is involved. now you have a situation where there is only an offside player involved with the nearest team mate 30 or 40 yards away who is not busting a gut to get that ball.

Why not just a players feet, Afterall thats the part touching the pitch.
See how easy it could be.

Already happened when the Wolves keeper got carried off injured when challenged for the ball by a player who had been offside anyway.
