He only played twice for Walsall and 6 as a substitute. He also scored a goal which isn't bad considering he probably only played around 270 minutes football in total for them. And like you said Loyal they are a very good side and extremely hard to force his way in. I have learned something new with this deal and that is a player can only play for two clubs on loan in Div 2 then must sign for a team lower down the leagues... Why

Think it's something to do with keeping the integrity of the competition - so you don't get a player playing for loads of different teams in the same league, in the same season.

The West Brom website says "short-term" so likely a month or two. I guess both parties want to see how it works out - it's no use to WBA if he doesn't get his game after he hardly played at Walsall.

Folarin sounds like he's just what we need, Mani and Madine will score goals if they're actually facing the goal a bit more. Hopefully see him start tomorrow and we get at them from the off. Still think Cleary arriving means Mani or Madine is on his way.

He is skillful and very quick and strong. Everytime I have seen him for Harrogate he looked dangerous. Needs to score a lot more but causes havoc on the wing.

Credit where its due with Folarin---permanent signing at a good age--you can never tell if players will be successful or not for sure but at least we have someone in, I assume he will be signed on for next season too.

Similar stats to Sheron then. Could go either way, but I think we all know which way its more than likely to go. At best he'll be Mr Average like Sheron, ideal player for finishing in a mid table position, some good games, some bad.

Most of his goals appear to have come from when he has played up front not on the wing, though he did score as a winger for Harrogate in a 3-3 draw at the Vic a couple of seasons ago.

Begs the question why Harrogate don't want him, when they are struggling themselves. Also failed to score in 7 games for Queen of the South, which is equivalent to not scoring in National League North.

As always, we'll see, but I wouldn't get too excited, these signings sound same old, same old to me.

Thanks for the info Mr FH. I had the impression Manni D came to us from Halifax when his contract expired and we offered higher wages than they could afford so he came to us. My impression was incorrect.

Money well spent. He is the backbone of our midfield and (touch wood) seems to be one of those players who isnt troubled by injuries.

I also thought that was the case Ozzy. Mr.Hogans knows his stuff though so he will be correct.

I was criticised about if a fee was paid, the fans are the life blood of the club who keep it going through season ticket sales and admission fees etc. Its not too much for the club to disclose how much it was or if a fee was paid.

I always find Snowy is at his worst first thing, he is definitely not a morning person.

Why, loads of clubs sell and buy players for undisclosed fees. When was the last time we actually did disclose a fee either way?
I don't think many supporters are bothered either way about the fee, it's all about ability and will he do a job for us isn't it?
Of course maybe it's too much to offer any kind of positivity when there's negativity to be found everywhere for some.
