He's obviously been on gardening leave for the last month or so and joins Boro's youth set up on 1st December. It's the end of 17 years at Pools. All the best to him.

His replacement has been running King's Lynn Town's Academy set up and knows all about keeping academies going without Football League funding. Makes sense to plan for this - even if Pools make the play-offs there's still only one promotion place available.

Just a question Mr.Hogans....When you say 17 years that sounds a hell of a long time. How is that number broken down? Is it playing days then his return to Pools together or has he been here in the last 17 years.?

Good luck to Gucky- been a great servant of the club both on the pitch and off it.

Other than his warrior style playing attributes -
One of my abiding memories of him was seeing him in town driving a lime green mark1 cavalier estate car in his early playing days with us, almost Datsun- esque!

It's what it says on the OS. Can't have been continous because after playing for us from 1991-1997 he had spells at Fulham and Oxford (and a loan spell with us) between 1997-2001. So I guess he's been coaching for Pools for the last 10 years... since about 2014?
