I stopped betting because every fooking time I bet on Pools I lost again and again.

Even if you bet on them to get beat? Second thoughts, I suppose the odds made it not worth betting.

If I bet on a horse in a one horse race I would come second Ozzy.

Despite its being fairly early in the season we are 10 points adrift of sixth place and unlikely to be able to catch up. However the seventh spot is still looking a possibility if we can win games like today's.

Hopefully 2-1 to a Pools team that really wants to get out of the NL otherwise we will be settling for not being relegated.

After a goaless first half the game ends 0-0.

Who knows which Pools will turn up. If it's the one from the second half's of Sutton / Maidenhead we win 1-3. If it's a another Pools team that turns out 2-1 loss and Crawford penalty.

Well I rarely get involved in match outcome speculation but I'll have a go at this one.
I predict 2-0 to Pools with Joe G notching both goals.

1-1 a fair result up to now but Pools could have been ahead several times. Whatever, this is a big step up in performance terms from what has gone before.

Kahrel Reddin, who scored 2 goals for us against FC Hartlepool then was never seen again, causing Fergie all sorts of problems.
Convinced that deflected cross was over the line…

not bad for a poolie either. this could go either way and the bench and the fitness could decide the result in the end. a good advert for the national league so far.

so would otis redding and he,s been dead over 50 years. agree about that shot and the local commentators did also.

Reddin torturing Ferguson but Pools had the better chances. Didnt realise Grey was playing, done nothing, Asimwe n Dodds looking very good down our right. Think we ll need another goal cos I can certainly see them scoring again, cracking game mind.

Decent enough apart from Campbell getting himself himself booked for being a gobshite and Fergie being tortured by a right winger yet again.

No chance there won't be at least one more goal in the second half - it's a coin toss which side gets it.

Charman for Grey first substitution,

both our fullbacks very poor, and sass Davies is not a better centre back than Mani O.

Campbell looks a good player when has ball to feet---I think Altrincham the more likely to go on and win but we are getting chances

do not blame campbell for having a pop at the ref. noway did that look like a foul and we have been unlucky in that respect a few other times as well.

I thought dodds did OK that half,it's the left side that's struggling as per usual.

Serious question but are Pools cursed this season . Playing well away to a very good home side ( 3 wins 3 draws 1 defeat ) and then a absolute howler from Young ( even our lass laughed and said she could have saved it ) followed by a goal that should have stood. The ball was 2ft behind the line but the linesman was still queing up for a mince pie. Apart from gifting them a goal then getting robbed of one I am disappointed that Cambell ( who is playing well ) got booked for arguing it's got to stop. Joe had the quietest half this season surely he goes off for Mancini or does what he is well capable of.

These Altringham commentators must be getting paid by the Hartlepool tourist board. They’re being extremely complimentary about all things hartlepool.
