Sarll reverts to parking the bus and nicking a winner as earlier in the season.
1-0 to Pools. Sarll out!

Agree with this but 1-0 to Brackley. Game will be a repeat of Ebbsfleet debacle.

Our only hope is to play to our strengths ie Fev has to start in place of Sloggett and I'd start the winger who came on instead of Charman. Also Aswime for Fergy who's delayed and blocked clearance led to their goal yesterday.
They looked a tidy well drilled side with pace on the break. Defensively they were very good and even better against the long ball tactics.
If we go long ball and hoping for a breakaway goal we'll lose for sure giving Sarll the excuse to drop Mani D, Grey, Mancini, etc

the only trouble with that is he will be admitting to himself he was caused the shit and his subs have got him out of it.

"even better against the long ball tactics"

Ask any CB, Any Level. And they would say please play the ball in the air.

Agreed- however the question that also needs to be asked is - Are they his subs OR Mr Burns', who has shuffled down to the dugout during half time?

Then if it is Mr Burns - Uncle Darren is basically redundant (he's certainly vacant up top- think all that evolution bullshit has taken over his brain)!

difference is that we,ll admit it when we are wrong but he never will. we know now that the staring line up on tuesday will be his and not what the fans would want. he,d have madine out on rollers if he could.

We have to play to what "DelBoy" believes is our strengths.

never thought i,d ever say this about pools but feel we,ll have a better chance of winning tuesday than we had on saturday just because we are away. feel the atmosphere will be better with less poolies there.

Think our players know full well who the targets are when Poolies start booing - and it's not them. The mood at the Vic changes in an instant if the lads get on the front foot. Campbell said as much in his post-match interview on Saturday,

its still not a nice atmosphere though for them even if they know its not them who are causing it.

Brackley absolutely ripped us a new one - they where a decent side playing with FA cup dreams in their heads. A home tie on a tuesday for them is ideal- we wont come out of this winners - dont be surprised to loose this one late on and have all the same bullshit excuses come out of that idiots mouth. He should walk if he cant get a result on tuesday !

he cannot win even if the team does. could even win the next 3 league games after that, play at birmingham in the cup and win he,d still be seen as a dead man walking by most just waiting for the day of business as usual appearing. Could even get promoted and there would be some saying we did it despite him being in charge and that could include me. he conned me at the outset and i,m not going to be conned twice or forgive easily.

1-0 or 2-1 to you lot.
Providing you get a fair ref.
Been there twice with Darlo and both times you'd have thought the ref was playing for them.

Remember Stingray on the telly years ago…the opening credits carried the line ‘Anything can happen in the next half hour’…..swop ‘half hour’ for ‘90 minutes’ and it becomes our season’s story.

Players are Gunna do it for themselves and the fans.
Just because the manager is a complete clueless crank doesn't mean we have to forget how to win and I would never want us to lose under any circumstances.

Heard a few fans saying I hope we lose so Sarly gets sacked.
To late for that to happen other wise he wudent still be here.
Absolutely can't stand the bloke like 99% of Poolies.
It's a strange situation were manager n chairman ain't got a Scrooby do! :angry-tappingfoot:

No matter how dire the situation - I would NEVER want Pools to lose. Just can't imagine a scenario where that could ever be the case, or that I would condone. We've lost enough games down the years without so called supporters willing us to do the same.

If Raj wants him gone he’ll be gone, suspect Raj hesitant as he put a lot into this appointment so hard for him to admit to himself his judgment is flawed yet again

I admit that others on here know far more about this than I do but in my humble opinion, unless this other board member has made a significant investment into the club, what the owner says goes. Thus, the other board member should wind his fecking neck in and Raj should do the right thing.
I suspect he is just waiting for the right moment such as Pools losing to Brackley Town tomorrow. We'll see.

A couple have posted that else where, Who knows. Seems to be like waiting for the kettle to boil.
Myself i think if Raj wants him gone he will be gone, Only other thing is maybe he really values this other person.

I can't recall in recent history a time when everybody wants rid- surely we're not in an Echo Chamber on here? Normally there is a few who will back the manager or have no desire to rock the boat and wait a bit longer for the tide to turn but this is a completely different beast!

I remember being on the Open terrace at Leeds Road (Uddersfield's old ground circa '93) and I think it was Ripper that had painted up an old bed sheet with the slogan -

Gibson Out! Busby Out! Tits Out!

Which came in quite handy when the sleet and snow started in the second half. We drew 1-1 that day with the other Colin West side footing an equaliser about 5 mins from the end, right in front of us Poolies. Think that was the same season we lost 8-1 at home to Plymouth on the last day.
Difference being that the anger was channelled at Gibson as much as it was Busby.

Absolutely can't stand the bloke like 99% of Poolies.
It's a strange situation were manager n chairman ain't got a Scrooby do! :angry-tappingfoot:

Heard Raj wants shot, another board member does not!

We'll see.

The right moment was after Ebbsfleet
Or even Dagenham
Or even Rochdale
Or even Forest Green
4 losses without a goal.
Now Raj would of Deffo sacked his previous 16 managers for that shit sequence of results.

Well done Bullshitter you the only manager to outdo the hatchet man unfortunately for us lot.

I suppose it’s human nature not wanting to admit you’re wrong, but frankly I think he’s been more than patient and in this instance I can see no objection from any sane person if the curtain drops on the Sarll ‘era’ of how not to play football.
I want to win, I always want to win but see no future under this so called ‘Msnager’.

No matter how dire the situation - I would NEVER want Pools to lose. Just can't imagine a scenario where that could ever be the case, or that I would condone. We've lost enough games down the years without so called supporters willing us to do the same.

we have got to remember its the players out on the pitch who will win or lose the game. sarll is only making it harder for them to do so. need to get behind them all including any we do not rate but totally blank anybody in the dugout.

Raj knows there is free money at steak tonight and Round one.
The pressure really is on "Uncle Darren" to deliver.
Obviously i want us to win.
But if we lose and he is not shown the door, Then something is amiss behind the scenes.

Tonight's result is neither here nor there in the scheme of things. Long experience has taught me to expect Pools to do badly in cup competitions. Even if this turns out to be a freak season and we get through to the 3rd Round, what does that amount to but a good day out and a boost to the club's (Raj's) coffers?

It's our league form that matters. For the rest of this month our jammy bar steward of a manager will have the chance to fanny about nicking the odd result against other mid-table mediocrities (Maidenhead, Altrincham and Aldershot).

In November the crap really hits the fan. Get cleaned out by the likes of York, Barnet and the mighty Eastleigh and another season is over before it's really begun - unless you get excited by a relegation battle. :angry-tappingfoot:

Its all about opinions.

League form is the most urgent need.
Cup games make Money we would not, Do not have, Any and all clubs want that money.

We have already been cleaned out by Ebbsfleet, Wealdstone, Woking, Braintree, Dagenham, Brackley. IMO
Thats why i believe tonights result is Pivital.

Even if we win, the Mastermind has created the aura of the disappointing win.
If we won 6-2 he’d complain about the two goals conceded, but….if we lose 1-0 he’d be over the moon with our nearly perfect defensive performance

2-0 Brackley. The players want him gone and this is an ideal opportunity. Am going to the game to stand behind Sarll and give him some non personal abuse.

Oh, it matters alright, because if Pools win tonight Sarll more than likely carries on as manager. If we get beat he probably (possibly...who knows?) gets the boot, and there's a decent chance Pools under new management will be playing better football and winning more games by the time we go to the likes of York.
