I would start with the team that finished the second half and hit the quick and hard try to score 2/3 and then in second half shut up shop replace Mancini and Manni D and wrap them in cotton wool for the next two much harder home games against Rochdale and Dagenham. -0 then shut up shop we need to get some goals for in case positions are down to goal difference.

It is natural evolution for Sarll to play 4231 with Grey, Mancini, Palace kid behind Mani D which means we will play more football than usual.

It could be 0-0 at HT and I'd still be confident of a 4-0 win due to the strongest bench we have had in over a decade.

Ebbsfleet new manager bounce comes into play. 1-1 with Pools conceding very late equalizer after Grey scores opener. Pools dominate but just cant seem to net that second goal.

Sorry Mr Acc. my mistake would include Mani D rather than Madine but if they went 3-0 up would pull Mani D, Grey and mancini and save them for the next 2 games.

Madine not in squad but Dodds, Charman, and Campbell give us very good options from the bench.
Hope new manager bounce and the curse of the ex player (Rakish Bingham) don't happen.

It was a deflection. I have never seen such consistently bad football from a Hartlepool team. We can’t string 2 passes together. Just forget promotion. Ebbsfleet are very bad but we are playing worse. Anyone got anything positive to say? It’s just dyer .

Bingham had three defenders around him and it still went in. Another inept first half performance, hopefully we can do better second half…

I try to stay positive when we react to poor starts and grind out wins but this bloke Sarll is just clueless. If he thinks this is attractive football he has got a screw loose. He has still got till the end of this month but wish we kept KP.

It hit our defender and took a horrible deflection. It should still be 0-0 but both teams are poor virtually no efforts on goal. I would take off the young Palace player ( looks lost I wonder if his friends and family are at the game and thats why he is struggling) and bring on Charman. And take off Sheron or Hunter for Featherstone. Its still a game we should win so I ain't panicking just yet. Let's hope it's a new approach second half. We need Joe and Mancini to get into this game and hopefully Charman would be that push we need to get the goals to win.

It’s worth mentioning that Ebbsfleet didn’t have a single point before this game.

It’s not a dissimilar place Mutley. Next to Gravesend which is the most aptly named place in the country.

I agree about Sarll...Sunday League Manager playing Football Manager...and about keeping Phillips.

I can live with ugly football when you’re successful with it but this is just ugly. Never understood the decision to sack Philips, I can only assume it was based on cost.
