its still only early but its a must win game to get us back on track. even with a win its 2 points less than where i want us to be after 6 game. need 14 for me over the 6 games after this.

If we bring this Winger in like DS mentions i can see him and Madine both being on the bench and featuring.

be a nice game for Madine to get into his rhythm and even notch against a side he should really take the piss out of !

Mancini and Campbell should also look a cut above against this lot and finally get Campbell away scoring goals.

He had a bruised leg or something off the last game and tbh has played alot recently so can imagine him getting a rest as to not damage anything further if there is a knock there.

sounds like the winger wont be joining us this weekend according to the latest interview with DS.

Also sounds like Mancini may be tried in that Charman position Left wing. Wont suit him at all that - be much better changing the formation to allow wing backs in - let Campbell play off Mani D and have Mancini also sitting in the center of the park doing the damage.

Mancini was supposed to be the best player in the league, so why dont we play him in his best position and let others work around that. At the minute we are making this lad look average at best, we might as well sell him if were not going to give him a chance.

If Parkes is out Saturday, Grey missing and the absence of Hunter through suspension I'm afraid the writing is on the wall for a struggle against Braintree, going to skip this one as another 90 minutes of frustration is not for me thanks.

Wether Mancini has been played in wrong position or formation the fact imo is he has been poor since coming back from injury.

The mail is referring to them as ‘in form Braintree’ getting the excuses in early it seems
Anything less than a win and I can see some serious discontent…fans tired of excuses and a fixture run of Wealdstone, woking and Braintree yielding only 1 or 2 points warrants some serious criticisms

Even the very best players around the World sometimes struggle after a serious injury. The more he plays without shinning the less confidence he will have. If I was in charge I would take him to one side and tell him you have a free role from now on. I would tell him to tackle in their half only and win us games using the energy you are currently waisting. I would give him 6 games of freedom because he is that good a player for me. We have a team defending all over the pitch and I'm sure we could get wonderful results if we untie the real Mancini. Otherwise sadly he will be out the team unless he can adjust his whole game from skill flair entertainment to a player who runs around tackling like a headless chicken. I can only remember a handful of such talented players in all my years at Pools . The ones that spring to mind Hutchinson / Pederson/ Honour/ McKinnon and Dalton and all provided great entertainment. Its time to take the leash off and let him perform.

Yep cant argue with that - let him free roam and collect the ball and play the passes we know he can make. Carves teams open as he did at a good southend side that time. Making him run about chasing shadows when probably not 100% fit is a waste of time. DS may be seeing this now. Just hope we do see the best of him again and he can start scoring goals as he wont be sticking around for another season thats for sure !

They are 3 unbeaten they managed to give Ebbsfleet their first point of the season in this run. Drew at solihull and beat Aldershot. If we cant beat this lot with our squad we are in bother.

Yes you spot on Eiphos_3. I have a few friends I met years ago at Southend and most of us stay in touch. They said Mancini is the best player they had ever seen at this level after he ripped them apart. And as you know they give him a standing ovation. They cannot believe we have got him chasing about after the ball. Like one off the lads said to me after the Home game against Southend " just give him the ball and let him play " cannot agree more.

Well history from the last 10 seasons Fact.
We are horrendously atrocious at trying to get 6 pts from back to back home games despite the hope we continue to give.

If it doesn't happen this time then that's it from me.
Will no longer put me self thru this torture!

But hey.
Maybe we win both games.
And everything is Sweet.

I reckon we will see both ManiD & Madine on together if things are not going according to plan against Braintree. Their presence alone will frighten the life out of any defenders in this league and probably cause upsets in the F.A.Cup if we get through the early rounds. Now I know there is a good chance Madine will be fit I am going for a convincing 4-0 win. Scorers MMM ManiD Madine x2 Mancini. Hopefully all the supporters will be onside after a convincing win. If we don't I will put on my tin hat and await the incoming missiles

When Mancini came on against Tamworth,he changed the game, mainly because he played in his best position.
Apart from that,he hasn’t been utilised properly.

He's only played in the wrong position after a bad game!!
Reckon he needs to stop passing to the opposition to get last seasons cult status back.
Supposed to be tearing this shit division a new one ain't he.

That has to start today along with the rest of our squad which is made out to be a major improvement from last season.

Time to see it.
Talk Talk is cheap.

Mani d mancini, joel grey, gary madine we should be tearing braintree apart with that forward line. Supposedly a great signing in young, midfield with featherstone in, excuses really have to stop today on our faiiure to not regularly win games in this division. Dont win today and it really has been a pretty poor start.

Never praise and criticism in equal measure though?
If we lose today you say it'll be a pretty poor start, if we win will you be on tonight saying it's been pretty good? More likely you'll be complaining it hasn't been better.

I say it how i see it. If we play great i will say it. If we win today it will of been a reasonable start yes. Are you telling me if we dont win today its been anything but fairly poor? Not winning any of the first 3 at home, losing when 2 nil up at woking?

Dont you think it has to be better to win the league? Or are you going to continually look for excuses?

If we lose today that'll be 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses, which would be average in the league I'd say putting us in mid table so not the worst start.
I do agree it would be poor in terms of all our expectations though. Obviously winning at home and drawing away would be better and points are points at the end of the day.
Looking forward to your numerous positive posts tonight if we win this afternoon!

Lets see how we play first hey?Wasnt too much to be positive about the first two games apart from the defence at home. But surely with the attacking options we have today has got to be better?

Did anyone actually see what Waterfall did?? According to Barron Waterfall thumped their guy in the face.
We can't go on with this carry on.
Parkes booked earlier for a toe to toe.
It's getting silly.

Mike Tyson punch.
Was binning KP the correct decision.
We certainly knew how to attack and keep 11 players on the pitch.

Still anutha 6 games for the quarterly assessment.

Good performance with 10 men, but we can’t keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Forget the playoffs with this sort of tactics. It’s just not balanced.

Am interested in Sarlls comments post match. He must take responsibility for the disciplinary problems . 2 more points dropped. We should have won this match and the previous one. Please get a grip. We must be mid table now. Something has to change!

Same number of games at the end of last season saw Waterfall AND Parkes get the grand total of 2 yellows….not each, between them.
