Should I buy Pools and put Snowy Kev Gray Derwent Dustin Stomper and Bluebones on the board and make Loyal and PTID joint chairman sctatchinghead And I have a job for Mr Walter Mitty Shithead in the reshuffle the " bog cleaner " sctatchinghead What should I do  sctatchinghead

Don’t even think about it…you’d have to move out of town because a succession of middle aged know alls with the reasoning power of a Woodpecker would be badgering you in the street and giving you advice on how to spend your money….. even though they haven’t got 50p to scratch their arses with because they’re financially illiterate.
Never forget, no matter how much money you pump in, if there’s no success, you’re a failure, you could end up sleeping in a skip after blowing millions, but you’d be despised because you achieved no success…there’s no reward for trying, counts for feck all.
Bear in mind your biggest critics are usually tight as a Duck’s arse in financial matters but they’ll happily spend yours till you and your family are living in that skip.

If it was me …I’d keep that board….every meeting I’d make them cover their bollocks in a mixture of mackerel and essence of sausage …then as the meeting commenced I’d lock the doors and windows and introduce my advisory team to the meeting…. and then we’d have the viewpoint of everyone around the table…..and then we’d decided I’m right, they’re wrong and anyone not agreeing would be advised/ persuaded, to fall into line because having Ratboy and Ruby on board sniffing around your dangleberries certainly focuses your priorities.
Problem solved dissenters neutered.

i,d love to put my fortune into pools as long as they build a statue for me so every man and his dog can piss on it in the future as the club and players have done for most of the last 70 years.

What a carry on getting my winnings  I had to open a online lottery account then email my details I.d & ticket number etc. Now I have to wait until " the team " can verify my ticket ( no time given ) then they will email me confirmation when completed. Then I post the ticket to them at HQ via a free Royal Mail tracked postage ( free ). When they receive my ticket they have to finish the remainder of the process as quickly as possible then a cheque will be raised and sent out to me. ( no time scale given ). Still using cheques in 2024 banghead

Ask Snowy if Ratboy and Ruby could be used on the turnstiles to stop the COKEHEADS getting in.

we do not want shit like that happening for the sake of diversity, inclusion and equality of our fan base. its the start of going down the slippery slope of no niggers, irish or dogs with fans getting a 50% reduction if they were born in sight of st.hilda,s from the club shop and food outlets.

but look at all the excitement he got out of it whilst it lasted. given the choice of two evils i,d pick his rather than just investing it all and getting a hard on looking at my bank balance and getting fun, fun, fun.

Congratulations Leggie rolf
Spend it wisely- so not on Pools!

Sounds a right ball ache the hoops you have to jump through to claim the prize- suppose it's so they can try and find an excuse NOT to part with the money. Funny how they don't tell you that when they happily take your money off you in the first place refred

Aye, I remember that…didn’t he end up saddled with a load of other debts and go bankrupt?
To be fair …anyone taking over a football club with only £10m is surely a bit high up on the naivety scale

Cracking post.

Ask Snowy if Ratboy and Ruby could be used on the turnstiles to stop the COKEHEADS getting in.

Depends, Ratboy’s rating is 5 Star on the Testicular chewing chart for Terriers, Ruby has sharper teeth and a Testicular nip can be quicker and eye crossingly painful, but anything dangling is fair game to her in a frenzy.
Ratboy’s like a frenzied shark and Ruby’s a cross between a Lion and a Chewbacca ….
Good with kids surprisingly, but for fuck’s sake don’t try and get in the house illegally….you might just annoy them.

About £5 million would see me comfortable..although in some day dreams the figure has been nearer the £15 million mark.

Well done mr leggie...maybe you are blessed with the touch..on a roll perhaps.

I have to correct myself….Ratboy starts barking like the Devil at half three this morning…go down and he’s scratching at the back door to be out so out he goes like a torpedo out of the tube and the gardens lit up like Blackpool in September.
He stops, then has a shit and strolls back in passing me like a bouncer at the Savoy…all that was missing was the tip. banghead banghead

Tell em to Fuck right off, it’s not worth the bother for £5.

Actually it was 50p but either way it's a slow slow payout. I was hoping to spend the day at Seaton on the 1p slots. banghead

My lad runs his own business in Poland and is engaged to a nice Polish girl. He went out there 7 years ago and said its a fantastic country and really nice people. I don't see him ever coming back here especially after recent events. He watches every Pools game on line

Was told a interesting story last night about the lottery. A family in Hartlepool won a couple of million years ago. They then kept putting loads on every draw and won another 2 jackpots making 3 in total sctatchinghead I know the family in question owns the fish shop at the end of central estate heading towards headland on left. I went to school with the daughter Janice but when they won I was working abroad and knew nothing about them winning until I mentioned my little cheque to my neighbour who then told me this bizarre story. sctatchinghead I have no idea if it's real story or not but the family did run about town in nice cars about 20 years back and bought the fish shop so who knows. I know the family name but don't want to put it on the bunker.

well i certainly didn,t. refuse to by one for that postcode lottery even if i,m the only one in the street to miss out. might be wrong but this gambling epidemic all seems to have started about the same time the national lottery started but people think its fine as its only a few quid a week.

It's not fine Accy you are correct but a lot of people are struggling now more than ever before and live in hope of winning millions. The irony is they spend money they can't afford. banghead I stopped buying the lottery tickets many years ago but decided to buy a couple of £1.50 pick tickets and won. Its only a small window to win anything in your life and the odds are greatly stacked against you. You never see a poor bookmaker sctatchinghead I do enjoy a £5 on Saturday fixtures and have had a couple of really good wins over the years but still probably thousands down overall. My best return was 8 years back when I put £0.50p on 14 teams to win and 9 of them ( one being Pools ) scored in the last 5 minutes to give me £1458.00

you only hear from people when or if they win. cannot remember the last time i heard from anyone how much they lost today. thats human nature and the gambling companies play on that. bloodsucking bastards who think they have a get out of jail clause by saying gamble sensibly in their small print. worked and ran an arcade in norfolk and it wasn,t in our financial interest to ban people who saw fit to feed the hungry bandits with their pound coins. we didn,t drag em in on gun point and the mugs would have gone elsewhere if we did not have them.
