Drove down this morning and the cattle were loose on the road…..normally they move but these were bolshy buggers so I had to wait till they got bored before I could carry on …..very busy with dozens of Mackerel fisherman down there..eventually headed back to find a bigger bunch of cows on the road tightly packed together going nowhere when all of a sudden they burst of in every direction as one was mounted by the resident stud, there was a gap on the road, the dogs fascinated as we passed the action by about a foot to appear in the first bovine porno production… it took four seconds to pass but it was terrifying.

Make no mistake I was looking dead ahead and praying…..the dogs were silent, surprised they weren’t holding up score cards for ‘technique’.

not the first time that must have happened as the few times i get down there i have seen the same. mind you my old rottie would have moved em quickly but would have stayed with them for a hour or so as cattle herding was in his blood. doubt i,d have been here if it wasn,t as he moved a bull down a narrow track near halifax where there was nowhere for me to go.

Funny that, Ratboy was off a farm and black fell terriers are bred to spend two months in the lambing season permanently outdoors to live with the flock to stop foxes taking the lambs….when I walk him down the path and he sees sheep, goes to the fence and sheep actually come over and they sniff each other through the fence, totally chills him out, yet if another dog appears up the path he goes into defensive mode with the sheep…totally weird.

got mine as a pup though and he never got trained that way. i have asked vets and others in the know but none could give a reason for his actions by something in the blood. funny how other animals can suss em as i doubt humans could suss others the same. possible the reason there are so many arseholes that succeed now in life as we have lost our animal instinct.
