When’s the last time we lost by 7-1 or more…I am probably blanking some out but last ones I remember are 8-0 (I think) vs Crewe in league cup and 8-1 vs Plymouth in the league when we were bankrupt pretty much both more than 25 years ago….bit of modern history on your CV Phillips

Worth pointing out both of those were vs teams league 1 or higher as well !

One really poor 45 minutes even though it was horrible surely we have to move on from it sctatchinghead Don't understand why you keep banging the KP drum sctatchinghead That result is the only proper poor result since he came in. We are not going down so panic off
If he fails next season he will be gone but please give him time to build a new team first. I think you could be surprised if he gets the backing he needs.

Come on loyal- come out and say it-

'We'd never have conceded six in the second half, if Killip had been in goal'

Can we put this to bed now?

10-1 against Wrexham in 62
Crewe 8-0 in 95
Plymouth 8-1 at home 94, lovely sunny afternoon
Do you want me to go on….?
You are obsessed with Phillips…..end of.

Yes remember the two in the 90s I
Mentioned, you have to go back a long way for a result as bad it seems…

I was at that game, but we did have 2 goals disallowed, so 8-2 wouldn't have been as bad!

Nice sunny afternoon I recall…when it got to 7, I stormed out with the kids but like a daft sod stood in the corner …what was I hoping for, the triumph of hope over cruel reality…I was experiencing what you call misplaced optimism.

Did someone say that after the Wrexham defeat….?.what do you do, spend the rest of your life in penance for a random disastrous result, all clubs experience this but you don’t spend your life looking backwards constantly and reminding yourself, that’s just masochistic…move on and bury it.

Mind you, that was when I’d learnt to control my temper, the kids hadn’t.
