Looking for a second impact driver (which I swear by) and once upon a time you went and bought one…..now it’s all bare unit sales so you buy the drill, then the battery, then the charger all seperate with a nice new price.
Would you but a car then expect the engine, brakes and doors to be optional extra’s…?

Not so bad when you have interchangeable batteries but the fly buggers know how to make life awkward.

Just as a matter I have seven battery operated drills, always buy middle of the road gear because you’re paying for the name on the big brands….I fell for the trick of buying Bosch tools about ten years ago and was bitterly disappointed….. yet oddly enough, the one little drill that impresses me is the small screwdriver drill I picked up in Lidl two years back. Fits in my pocked and a belter, holding its charge with a decent torque, just bought another one last week when they reappeared on the shelves as a spare.
Only trouble is buying one at the right time before the vultures buy anything half decent in numbers rakxe

As pet owners know. Carpets are magnets to fur.
So years ago bought one of them super on the Adverts battery charging hoovers.
Pure shite. Flat battery after 15 mins with shit suction.
In the end binned it. Ripped all the carpets up n replaced them with laminate.
Was before covid inflation so worth every pound
.

Thank god my two don’t shed hairs, mind you it’s £30 each every two months to scalp them at the groomers.
