Gone out of business today and their resignation from the Southern Premier accepted.

Been troubles there from earlier this season and got locked out of their Liberty Way stadium a few weeks back for non payment of rent. But they have had a long history of debt and name changes over these past few years.

Appointed new Manager last week and oversaw their defeat at St Ives (Cambs) 3-0 last Saturday, his one and only game in charge!

There are going to be other before the seasons out.

I was working out the back this morning and had Talksport on and it was about getting payments further down the league from the Premiership, but the negotiations have been going on for four years and got nowhere.
It was also pointed out the the parachute payment from the Premiership is £50m so the relegated clubs have a massive advantage over other Championship clubs.
Money money money.

people were saying this in the covid oeriod but nothing happened. nuneaton have been a basket case for years on end and never recovered from their move across the town from their old ground. where their old ground was situated it was in a well populated area of working class people who possibly were their main fan base and could walk to the ground. its completely different where they moved to.

Might be a bit of a reality check for those who think we'd be better off if we went bust too.
