It seems Mattock is fit enough to play at right back and Hastie is in.

Dixon Mattock Onariase Johnson Hastie Paterson Wallace Featherstone Crawford Cooke Dieseruvwe

Those of you who know stuff: What is the formation? Is it 5 4 1? It looks like Manni D is the only out and out striker. I guess it might turn out to be more solid defensively but it depends on the players remembering what they have to do.

I was wondering that. I guess a midfield/winger? He is not known for his tackling abilities.

I am sure York will improve at some stage in the game so I am hoping Pools dont burn themselves out and do an Oxford City. My Poolie pessimism wont away!

I wouldnt worry, Mr Critical. I suspect very Poolies were expecting anything at all from this match let alone such a resounding win. I'm enjoying the savour of humble pie as well as plenty of others.

Practically a perfect performance. Lads played well today. Last 10 minutes lost a bit of focus and they scored. Still something to build on and 10 times better than last week. Featherstone , Cooke, Hastie, Patterson all had good games and Dixon’s catching very good. Hope we have turned a corner.

I bet there'll be a few pints sunk in York this evening. I'm wondering if the Poolies sang the song?

"We're winning away
We're winning away
How shit must you be
we're winning away."

I'll settle for a 2-1 win. Three points is three points. Our problem is of course that Kiddy haven't won for fookin ages so of course we all know what that means, dont we?

Wallace was very good, most of them were but in the flip side York were v poor

Featherstone defintely benefitted from having the likes of Wallace and cooke near him to play football with but if I was York I would be fuming they didn’t try and put him under any pressure

York were only as Good/Bad as we allowed them to be.

Needs to sit the next one out if Patto is fit, Don,t change a winning team.

It's a wonder after the ref cleaned him up !
Couldn't believe he didn't immediately stop the game. There would have been hell on if York had made anything of the possession. Fortunately he came to his senses fairly quickly.

was surpised how much Wallace helped Featherstone--worried it would be too defensive but offered himself as an outlet and let Feather get higher up the pitch.

One of those games where Featherstone looked like the best player by a mile--and it was partly in thanks to the options the other players were giving him.
Thought Johnson was very good too.

It is important, but when they get it wrong they get pelters, so how about giving them as much praise when they get it right……
Sometimes on here it’s a case of massive complaints and scant praise…a bit more balance is needed.

Patterson looked as if he could barely walk after the match, so would expect a straight swap for Fergy on Tuesday and hopefully a similar performance. Players who in previous matches looked low in confidence must be full of it now after such a dominant performance. And, great to see we can make chan especially and score goals when Mani D has a relatively quiet game.

They are getting praise like has been said it was a fantastic performance away from home. Think the words should of been 6 were used. I think you need to read the praise they have received from me and others and not just blindly try to be on the wind up.

The reason the team club gets massive complaints is that over the course of 80 to 100 games in the main its been shit, so rightly there will be massive complaints, when the team turns it round and yesterday isnt a one off then they rightly should get praise. We are sat mid table in the conference after being relegated i dont think any club should be getting full on praise for that situation. Its now about building on that win and not throwing it away on Tuesday, one thing for sure kidderninster wont be as bad as that york performance yesterday.

It was a cracking performance yesterday and they deserve praise for that. Cooke and Wallace made a massive difference for me, just that know how on the pitch helps massively. Really need to back this up on Tuesday night now to hopefully kick start a run. A few ratings anyway

Dixon 7 ,two good performances in a row, good handling
Paterson 7, did well
Hastie 8, on fire first 45 then ran out of steam, great finish
Johnson 8, immense for me
Mattock 7, solid as a rock
Onariase 7, some great blocks in
Wallace 8, some real stability in front of back line
Featherstone 8, controlled the game in the main
Cooke 9, thought he was fantastic and 3 assists
Crawford 8, pretty much did everything he didn't do last week, hassled and got stuck in, good goal too
Mani D 6, some good link up play

Great away day, great atmosphere, stupid amounts of traffic and a pint in a bowling alley!
