I reckon he must have taken his eye of the ball.
Long punt from their goalie was allowed to bounce, one down. Second goal, no challenge. Third goal, unless the keeper was unsighted or got seagull shit in his eye, he should save it.
I think we are massively missing Mo Sylla. No protection against runners.
Even getting Wallace back will be an improvement as long as we can keep him fit.
I am still astonished that Mani O and the Boro kid started on the bench and as for Dixon.......................

Mani O was the biggest shock, how many last minute tackles has he made, was Askey saying he was the reason we were shipping goals or had Mani had words with Askey ?

Who knows but it certainly makes you think along those lines.
There some baffling decisions and comments coming from the manager and the norm is that managers generally get judged on results.

He has problems with his knees apparently, that’s the only reason I can see for him being on the bench as he has been easily our best defender this season.

After watching the goals again you can see our back line just don’t get tight enough. Their players had too much room to work in and given Rochdale had the majority of the ball in the first half we were always going to get punished.
