Listening to the commentary of the local sports media lads watching the match last night I have to say their opinions about Pools last night were mostly complimentary and in particular certain players performances.
I always take note of this as they view something neutrally without the ingrained bias of fans who for one reason or another see things through their own warped prism…and we all do it.
2-2 away there was a good result, the only losers were our away supporters who had to stand in that uncovered away end in those conditions, they deserve a medal.

Same here, sometimes I listen to the other local radio on the BBC sport site and same here. The commentary teams sound impressive with certain players.
However always happy that we leak goals for them.

the altrincham commentary duo were far better than the ones from oxford and chesterfield i have had to suffer this season on the live stream.

We were fascinated by the ‘narrow’ stand opposite and the neat semi’s almost appeared to be in the ground but two of them had a gorgeous view of the urinals.

yes its a real old school traditional non league ground in a residential area with a golf course near to the back of where the cameras were. get there early enough and you can park on the roadside outside the ground. why couldn,t that have been a saturday game instead of bloody dagenham. i,m sure the crowd would have been bigger if it had been even if it pissed down as well. well i,d have been there for one instead of watching in the dry on a screen.

I enjoyed the commentary, one of the best we've had.
