more chance of picking up a lottery winning ticket than predicting a result or the actual pools starting 11 from one game to another. apart from lacey there is bound to be someone else out from yesterday who dropped the remote on they toe watching the box. why isn,t it the despensible ones injuries happen to.

2-0 loss and the boo boys will start. 226 Poolies.
We need a very experience central defender like John McPhil for the younger players to learn from.

When Pools play it’s like the old Stingray. TV programme, with the line…’anything can happen in the next half hour’,
Is Askey Troy Tempest in disguise.

be shocked if we get even a point from our next two away games. not getting anymore long term injuries is getting as important as points are now.

well they do have history for calling off games due to rain when others in the area play there ones. at best the pitch will be heavy so we have an excuse lined up.

Some entertaining play marred by some fucking abject defending

Altrinchqm targeting Burton who is struggling but not the
Only one, really shitty clearances from midfield and the
Keeper doing his best advert yet for keeping Killip

Askey really needs to sort this defence , seems to pick players for ability on ball above defending

If he doesn’t take Burton off he will get sent off

More goals in this one….and I suspect we know who for

How many more weeks before we actually go out and do something about it? 9 goals against oxford city, woking and altrincham in only 2 and half games is pathetic.

I've had no problem with the live stream - more's the pity.

Pathetic defending again. Team spirit looks shot 'cause it doesn't matter how many we score the opposition will get more.

being killed yet again by individual errors where we were not exactly up against it at the time. same type of errors but different players every week making them. on the plus side there looks more goals in this and they do not look great at the back either.

Sorry to mention his name but Killop was not good enough for national league or above simple. But these two are no better they really are no better at all. Please JA bring in a good quality keeper on loan and then let one of the chuckle brothers go out on loan to somewhere like Darlo. sctatchinghead

Individual errors coming from poor recruitment.
With a budget when STs were on sale stated to be better than DCs promotion season.
Sings words not mine.
Takeover needed to give the fans a better team to follow.

We've hade more takeovers than a broken down transit on the A19, how many times did it bring success let alone immediate success.
We need players to stop giving away soft goals, especially when we're the better team.
A few reinforcements would be welcome for sure.

Macclesfield went up as champions being as boring as hell. Sure Askey would give his right arm for Pools to get some clean sheets and 1-0 wins.

Definite penalty against Mani - suppose we should be thankful for small mercies with NL refs - at least he gave us a free kick.

Wasn't at game but the fact that we kept a clean sheet for a full second half is something to build on , also the loosing streak comes to an end

Could someone please tell Josh to turn around and face the oppositions goal instead of constantly having his back to it wrestling with defenders.

I'm no Bobby Robson but I reckon that facing the right way will improve his chances of looking like the pacy goal scoring machine he was a year ago.

5 Pools players yellow carded, the last thing Pools need is players getting suspended.

As officials have now gone mad, due to the new strict interpretation of the rules, most of the teams in this division are going to have suspension problems so Pools won’t be alone.

Burton did well on his debut, for a young lad, ready to go forward and showed some plenty of enthusiasm for a young lad. We had a few anonymous players on the night….but he wasn’t one of them.

Nah, the contact was just outside the box, I thought it was a penalty but the replay showed the ref was right, worse luck.

in real time at the time of the incident it looked inside to me. even the altrincham commontators seems to say they have got away with it. question is, was the game a point gained or two lost. at least it stopped the rot. we had most of the play especially 2nd half but somehow they looked more likely to score than we did. funny hpw our goals came from the 2 i do not rate.

again it is going to affect teams with a small squad the most. its a good job these refs were not around in the 70,s and 80,s as the game would have been abandoned as one team would end up with only 6 on the pitch. anyone who just looked at the stats would have thought last nights match was a right old battle instead of just an average game. really he could have gone through the game with only getting his book out to register the goals and it would not affected how the game was played.
