What a game, wasn't going to watch but saw the opening few minutes and thought we'd get a battering being a man down after only a few minutes.
Tremendous display of unity, organisation, skill to get a fantastic and well deserved result.
Personally thought red card was harsh given it looked an accidental clash of heads.

Not sure there is much appetite for Egg Chasing on the Bunker sctatchinghead

Pleased they won but wouldn't have been too upset about a defeat.

I've tried to like rugger but afraid it does very little for me, bit like golf , F1 and tennis.

And Swing low, sweet chariot- boils my piss- WTF is that about?

Agree 100% with PTID. What a change to see an England performance we can be proud of. Head collision was not malicious and if anything Curry came off worse. Sad thing is, he could be banned for the rest of the tournament as though he had gone out of his way to maim an opponent. Surely there should be some kind of appeals mechanism.

Looking forward to seeing the Boks tear the Jocks a new one.

funny that because egg chasing used to be popular in the town at one time when rovers were doing well. even their club tie had a hanging monkey on it back in the late 50,s and permanently borrowed by old mans one a few years later. think it was black with t a thin red and white stripe. trouble with rugby is it a game where size matters and you have to be bloody good if you have not got it. no good for tall beanpole types like me.

Wouldn't watch club rugby, but enjoy the 6 nation's and world cups. Hadn't intended watching the England game but saw a couple of minutes and was hooked absolute masterclass in having a plan b, teamwork, fitness, tactics, etc. Plus no fannying around pretending to be hurt even though the tackles were fierce and sometimes borderline assault. Football could learn a thing or 2 about sportsmanship and respect for the officials but I suppose they'd have to accept they're not perfect to do that. Seem to remember back in the day football refs moving freekicks 10 yards forward if there was dissent, only lasted a season I think - can't understand why they didn't stick with it?

They tried to make us play it at Tech, but it was about 95% for football and 5% for rugby….you got a choice.
Eventually the PE Teachers decided otherwise and the 95% were lined up to watch a demonstration of rugby tackling by two of the 5% blue eyes….I swear the PE Teachers were salivating at this master stroke.
So one blue eye chases the other blue eye across frozen, rutted mud, performs the ‘tackle’ and the PE Teachers turn to us and ask if we were inspired by what we’ve just witnessed.
The 95% stood in mute silence.
We were then asked if we’d like to desert football and join the rugby lads.
The 95% stood in mute silence.
We were sent packing back to the footy pitches..thank God.bbolt

I fear my opinion still hasn’t changed, I can still visualise those frozen mud ruts to this day.
