Dodds, Lacey and Mancini will be massive losses.

It'll be back to struggling to fill a bench like it was for Keith Curle at this rate.

Might to bring one or two of the youth team in to fill the bench.

All the rave reviews we got about the Burton lad we signed from Scarborough, who is a CB and he seems to have gone missing. Then there is Stephenson who is rumoured to have left for Bradford.
We take on young loanees from other clubs but don't appear to trust our own.

Really are on the bones of our arse if Mancini, dodds, Lacey and Wallace out

Going to have to grind out an ugly win with the likes of Dolan andFinney potentially featuring which doesn’t fill me with confidence

It may be our young players are generally in the 17-18yrs age group and not ready for men’s football where as the young loanees we bring in are around 20.

would prefer our 17/18 year olds getting a chance even if at the end their depth than a 20 year old from a championship club sent out on loan where we,d be about the 3rd choice of level they want their youngsters to go. for every burey there is a parkhouse especially if its a panic signing.

An ‘ugly win ‘ gets you three points still, if there’s no other option you take that one.

Accrington - I think your hearts ruling your head. I believe you have to be exceptional at 17-18 to compete at our level but there again young loanees are only getting experience at our expense. Just my opinion.

Dodds with a season finishing injury is a nightmare we could really do without. I reckon we need three (at least) quality players in immediately plus loanees.

Its not confirmed although the guy who told me is usually 70% bang on. So we wait ...

but yes you dont usually carry on playing with an ACL injury - if anything i thought it may have been a nasty knock and swelling. Sometimes the ligaments take a battering and dont tear but its still a nasty 6-10 week recovery time for a pro to get back playing.

We needed another CB before this - JA has some task on his hands ! hope he has been knocking on the doors of all the big clubs.

surely though our kids would be as good as trusty was. its hard to imagine anyone getting paid to play could have been as poor as he was. we would be very lucky indeed at our non league level to get players much better than he was on loan if they are kids.

Wasn’t Luke James only a teenager when he made his debut, also James Brown and Boydie ?

I would love to be wrong but I just don’t think there is any 17-18yrs old at the club ready. The manager appears to think the same.

we have not had the chance yet to find this out. i,d hate to rely on them though in the same way as relying on kids from anywhere else. our best loan players have hardly been kids anyway.

Yes we get the odd kid every now and again but they are played if the manager thinks they are good enough. Say play the kids in place of who? What kids we hardly know the names of any of our kids.

Nothing…first I have heard of someone playing on after a season long injury, so was hopeful it was just people saying worst case….but of course this is pools!

Mancini is the ridiculous one, I said worst
Case Xmas … no it’s 6 fucking months for a hamstring, this club really is cursed it seems

It’s ironic, it just has to happen to us….we finally assemble a team and and this happens…..like buying your dream car and after 2 days showing off, a runaway bin wagon driven by a chimp in Chesterfield slams into the back of you and demolishes the car
