If it makes anyone feel better remember that back in September Swindon lost 0-3 at Harrogate and Daly scored for Betty's Boys that day. Not sure what I am making of this but it's a long week ahead and a long trip down to Wiltshire. Anything to add a plus to things.

drop the two midfield dynamo,s off before the coach reaches the ground. that magic roundabout would confuse em so much they,d get lost and miss the game. 2 nil to swindon plus another if they start.

Even if all our injured players are available, and we play out of our skins, Swindon will be in a different class.

we may be poor, but whats so special about swindon nowadays. they are still in our league with div.2 players who will make their mistakes.

The Robins will stick their chests out after a 4 - 0 win.

Who killed Cock Robin.
I said the sparrow,
With my bow and arrow,
I killed Cock Robin.

Sometimes the down at heel surprises you.

"Who killed Cock Robin?" "I," said the Sparrow,
"With my bow and arrow, I killed Cock Robin."
"Who saw him die?" "I," said the Fly,
"With my little eye, I saw him die."
"Who caught his blood?" "I," said the Fish,
"With my little dish, I caught his blood."
"Who'll make the shroud?" "I," said the Beetle,
"With my thread and needle, I'll make the shroud."
"Who'll dig his grave?" "I," said the Owl,
"With my pick and shovel, I'll dig his grave."
"Who'll be the parson?" "I," said the Rook,
"With my little book, I'll be the parson."
"Who'll be the clerk?" "I," said the Lark,
"If it's not in the dark, I'll be the clerk."
"Who'll carry the link?" "I," said the Linnet,
"I'll fetch it in a minute, I'll carry the link."
"Who'll be chief mourner?" "I," said the Dove,
"I mourn for my love, I'll be chief mourner."
"Who'll carry the coffin?" "I," said the Kite,
"If it's not through the night, I'll carry the coffin."
"Who'll bear the pall? "We," said the Wren,
"Both the cock and the hen, we'll bear the pall."
"Who'll sing a psalm?" "I," said the Thrush,
"As she sat on a bush, I'll sing a psalm."
"Who'll toll the bell?" "I," said the bull,
"Because I can pull, I'll toll the bell."
All the birds of the air fell a-sighing and a-sobbing,
When they heard the bell toll for poor Cock Robin.

Well they have won 6 drawn five and lost three games. That makes them vastly superior to us in my opinion and while miracles do happen they tend not to happen to us at Swindon.

A very embarrassing but now normal " laughing stock" of a Hartlepool United result 7-0. Thank you Raj for pulling us from the river in our hour of need but no thanks at all for then throwing us back into the deep deep north sea. How could you have gone so so wrong after getting the hero status you rightly earned & deserved. Its totally mind boggling it really is.

iff we had got a point at harrogate and put a shift in on tuesday night never mind the result i think there would be more positivity about. fear for this side if swindon get an early goal and carry on pushing on. the only positive is who expected anything at mansfield even before the kp.

I said a few weeks back that in my 50 years of following Pools I could not remember a worse squad of players and I got hammered for saying that. We have had some terrible squads over those years but for me this lot are dire. Having said that I somehow bought a season ticket and put a bet on us to win promotion after being convinced PH was the new saviour. What do i know about football ha ha

Bit of a Sutton game
2-0 loss, our fans numb to it Swindons taking the 3 points but knowing in the back of their mind a bigger hiding could have been handed out

I remember that conversation well. Think I congratulated you on setting fire to £50.

Blind faith gets most football fans in the pre-season. When you actually looked at the pedigree of what was being brought in and the farcical nature of the preparation… didn’t take much footy know-how to know we were on a crash course to failure.

Just for you MrSnowy.

Definition of football

1 : any of several games played between two teams on a usually rectangular field having goalposts or goals at each end and whose object is to get the ball over a goal line, into a goal, or between goalposts by running, passing, or kicking

From down here £108 ticket on the railway. Bloke in Redruth station looked at me as if I had two heads when I asked how much a day return to Swindon was. For f sake it's not Vladivostock but Wiltshire. Even so you have to go to either Bristol and change or even Reading and come back. Can't see many Poolies at Swindon on Saturday.

this is just a guess but one where i think if someone travelled the same distance to swindon as london to swindon is the cost would be more. there seems to be regular deals where travel to london is concerned but not to anywhere else. great for those interested in protests and knife crime though.

Maybe Keith C will call it a day after this. Sterry and Grey will shortly slap in transfer requests. A guess admittedly.

Took a while to think of that one.

If you want more modesty, I have nailed pretty much everything in terms of the end of last season and into this one. Whilst you played down the departures of regular first team players, told us how assured you were of PH’s expertise and generally showed up your knowledge of League 2 and football generally, I was telling you repeatedly the recruitment was awful and our team wouldn’t manage at the quality necessary to compete, and the whole thing was a monumental gamble.

I want to stop arguing with you Snowy, but you don’t half make it difficult for me.
