Will start this weeks...

2-0 - Bogle to get off the mark and get his campaign up and running - Ferguson with the second

Morris to start again and put in a MOTM performance to cement his place in the MF.

Showed signs of being a top midfielder did Morris on Saturday (and thats against Prem opposition). How good will he be for us in L2. really happy with him and hope he gets some good game time - Good to see him want the ball and shoot from outside the Box. Looks strong too.

Pools 3 Barrow 1

Hope for a midfield of Morris,White,Crawford.

Lets see what Bogle is like at this level give Luke a rest and play Fela for his pace and see if he partners well with Bogle.

Are we even playing tomorrow? Haven't heard anything about this match from the club. Understand the magnitude of Saturdays game but still could at least post a preview.

1-1 for me. Pools will be a bit leggy after Saturday's exertions.

No chance, it only applies to Premier League players.

Failed to win any of our last 7 league games without scoreing in 5 of them.
We been playing some lovely nicey nicey football in the majority of these games but still that major problem when we get in the final third of the pitch.
But tonite we finally end this abysmal period.
Pools 3
Barrow 1
Superstar Bogle to notch.

Didn't this fixture provide us with our biggest victory about 80 years ago?
... and our heaviest defeat!

We beat Barrow 10-1 in the early 60s, and lost by the same margin to Wrexham the next season, if memory serves.

It's the day of the game and there's still no match preview on the OS. Pathetic and disrespectful of the League we actually live in.

Hope to God the team has come has come back down to earth a bit quicker, otherwise it will be 3 easy points for Barrow.

Yup, it was Grimsby, a great Friday night out.
That said, we went in 4-0 up and we came out and Grimsby scored straight away and seriously, I could hear the groans of apprehension and foreboding around us.

How did we survive before match previews? We just turned up didn’t we and waited for the names to be read out. I remember asking for a little radio for Christmas so I could listen to radio Cleveland or whatever it was at the time, but I think that was to hear other scores during the game maybe.

To be fair I have no interest in pre match previews,if by chance I hear or read something then fair enough but don’t go looking for it.

I understand the unprofessional'ism from a Media point of view not having a pre match preview on the OS etc. But tbh the abolsute poor effort put into them most the time anyways makes for reading the ad mag more interesting. Apart from stating the obvious and maybe a regurgitated few words from the gaffers last presser. It really only gives indication as to whos on the treatment table and who might play - when its pretty obvious whos out and whos in.

i really do hope we see a change in formation tonight - this is a must win game at home - we can keep possession and look great but like stated we need to attack and keep the ball going into the box. A draw after saturdays performance isnt good enough !

Yadder yadder. I'm old enough to remember how how little info fans had about games way back in the day. I also remember Pools having a fully functioning media department and website even in the worst times of Coxberg and Sage thanks to Mark Simpson's efforts.

Raj had sound reasons for cutting back on everything when the money stopped coming in during the first lockdown, but that's in the past too. Pools are a League 2 club again and whatever way you cut it have made a ton of money this season. Despite all Hobin's talk about taking the club forward, the website is still a slapdash affair - completely forgetting about the match preview for tonight's game is only one aspect of that. Fucking sort it out Pools!

this is where managers earn their money. its so easy to play the same team barring injuries after a decent performance rather than trying something new.

Pools had a fully functioning bullshit campaign under the previous owners. Largely it told you fuck all about the reality of what was going on behind the scenes. I do agree that it could be better but they have a small team. Who knows why they are a bit behind. Covid maybe? Certainly they need to make the best of the media attention and they aren’t doing that at the moment.

Think we'll win by a margin tonight - the boys (whichever team he puts out) should be flying after Saturday and that confidence and the new signings like Morris and Joe White should mean we have too much for Barrow. 4 - 0 to Pools. Would be good to see Bogle notch.

Morris will more than likely be in for Feaths tonight

Crawford may be rested as he put in a shift at the weekend and id like to see maybe Holohan back in there or the new lad White. White for me has to be given minutes:

1. To help build on our relationship with Newcastle for the future in them letting what will be alot of surplus players you would think go out on loans. (new rules incoming to mess that up though).
2. The lad has energy - pace and height. Hes the Yaya Toure Esq midfielder every good team wants. He showed his willingness to push forwards in the Palace game and ive watched some of his U23 highlights and he can pick a pass and score from outside the box. Cannot wait to see more of him tbh.

Fletcher is work in progress and needs alot more minutes - nice utility player to bring on.

Shelton and Smith dont cut it for me tbh and their admission into the match day team doesnt give me the warm fuzzy feeling at all.

deffo feel a win tonight tbh - Bogle has to get off the mark tonight

Decision Lee has to make is around switching to 4-3-3. Personally think he'll start with 5 at the back & revert to 433 if we don't score in the first half.

In centre mid i'd hope to see White / Morris / Crawford, with only possibly Holohan coming in for Crawfs.

Think we'll win 2-0 tonight, Bogle's first for the club to go in.

It'll be great if Bogle scores but he doesn't 'have to get off the mark' at all. What he has to do is work hard, win balls in the air, show good hold up and link up play and get in the right areas to take chances. If one goes in, brill.

It was possible to write Fondop off after 3 games because his all round play was crap, not because he didn't score.

Knew hed get off the mark tonight. Unfortunately the rest of what he needed
To do wasnt quite there just yet. Still a few games before we see a sharp Bogle. Even Miller agreed in the commentey on ifollow.

Mols absolutely fantastic. Play the lad in the position he wants And he goes and gets 2. Class work rate and did everything he could. Should of had a 3rd tbh but that right footed effort was unlucky.

Morris - sign him up Raj hes quality we needed in that MF. Spike knows.

Up the Pools ! Buzzing !

A professional display. My only gripe with 4-3-3 is we do seem to get cut open a lot more down the flanks. Centre midfield going to be very interesting when Feaths is back.

If I was a Barrow fan I’d be looking over the shoulder, thought they were very poor. Pools comprehensive in victory thanks to Molyneux magic.
