So given DCs looking like moving on to a bigger club who does everyone want to come in and replace him?

Got to be worth a shout on someone like Steve Bruce for me.

Positives: free agent. Is used to not having much in way of budget as will be the case here (let’s have it right we’re certainly no Stockport County). Already acclimatised to the sh!t weather and will have a good idea about how much of a sh!t hole Hartlepool is to reside in. I mean heck he might even understand the oddball ramblings most of our fanbase make. Additionally, he’s not adverse to a relegation battle which will come in handy as we decline.

Negatives: doesn’t have much non-league experience for when the inevitable happens. Doesn’t have any offspring at Durham Uni to hang our hopes on when another giant comes poaching. May need to adjust to the sh!te ground/atmosphere.

No doubt losing DC is a huge blow but we had a good run. He was always going to attract bigger and more lucrative roles. Brucey though could be exactly what we need!

Odd the use of the word ‘we’ when passing yourself of as a bitter Bradford ‘fan’. Already acclimatised to the sh!t weather and will have a good idea about how much of a sh!t hole Hartlepool is to reside in.
And you ‘live’ in Bradford

Why have you suddenly again slipped into the use of the word ‘we’.... when referring to Pools? Give yourself away their sonny.

Here we go again, the use of the word ‘we’..... You’re a message board pantomime horse son, get to bed, your mams telling you to turn out the light.!

Don’t recall suggesting I was a Bradford fan? I’ll forgive you though as previously mentioned I know our fanbase are pretty odd.
