What’s happening another ex player passing away. I didn’t realise Martin had played so many games for Pools, 96. Excellent goalkeeper who was probably let down by his size, always looked overweight. I’ll always remember him playing for us against Darlo, in the warm ups a Darlo player blasted a ball which went into the crowd and struck my mother. Martin left his goal and consoled her until St Johns ambulance man attended.

Nice anecdote that shows Burleigh had a big heart as well as a big appetite! RIP
