Everton U23s player scored two hat tricks pre season let Joe Parkinson work his magic and get him on a season long loan. Failing that after yesterdays showing go for Agard and a giant target man.

olomota freed by scunthorpe at the end of last season. they seem in a financial mess so it could have been a financial decision and not a playing one. wonder how jamie stott played. a defender who is well thought of by stockport fans if not the manager.

Thought it was Angol. Like the mail said its more a less a done deal then if hes playing pre season games. Jamie Stott would be a nice addition to the squad for sure. Any idea on who the kid was who notched 2 jackson jr ?

It looks to me as if Cullen got two in the first half. Pools' first from Ferguson's free kick isn't clear but if looks as if Cullen gets the final touch - at any rate he takes congratulations fro Holohan and another player. Then he gets a good strong head to Sterry's cross for the second.

Kalala is a skillfull player but he got fouled a lot last night and lacked workrate/desire I thought.
Olufela Olomola come on second half and put the ball in the net from a great Ferguson cross but it got ruled out. He has signed for us and looks half decent, so at least we will have 1 fit striker for now.

yes from what i saw of him in the Linnets game he seemed direct and wanted to take on his man, but then again so did Ofosu and i was impressed with the pre season he had. DC had other ideas it seemed.

hopefully gets another look in come saturday and changes his attitude. DC isnt messing about by the looks this time and you if dont want to fight for a place you are not getting that chance.

only pools' luck that we get a decent player in an gets injured. hope it isnt a sign of what to expect from him (Cullen) as he seems to be a decent player

Olomola cant comment just yet as not seen enough of him, but hes played at that higher level (technically 5 goals in 2 games then) we shall see

? He thought he'd signed for Motherwell a few days ago: https://twitter.com/olomola?lang=en

Wonder what happened with that? Your info seems to be reliable so I'm assuming he really is joining us.

Think we need a stalking injunction against Motherwell now, stealing our players before we've even signed them.

No record of Olomola last season. Cullen on the face of it looks decent but is he another injury prone player.

If rumours are true and Parko is off to Everton, can he sway Mr Dobbin into coming this way ? - may this ellusive thread and unknown to most forward finally make his way to Pools - Yes i am a dreamer but the lad sounds fantastic.
