Can only agree with him - up to the sending off it looked like a win was the only outcome. Cass is looking at a 3 match ban for violent conduct. It sounds as if the sending off might be very harsh, but when do Hartlepool appeals ever do any good?

Interesting comments on the squad at the end. Tom White is travelling with the team to games and obviously desperate to get his loan sorted, but the manager admitted that he's got other moves he might like to make and has got to manage his budget carefully.

On tonight's showing White is a player Pools need in the squad for the last 15 games if they're going to get over the line. Come on Raj, don't spoil the ship for a ha'ppeth of tar

Interesting about the other signings comment, the obvious one would be a goalscoring forward, as we would obviously struggle for goals if Armstrong got injured.

Armstrong is the linchpin of the attack, no question, but Pools' last 3 goals have been scored by Shelton, Molyneux and Oates. If those 3 keep chipping in goals as they ought to be capable of doing, it will make a difference. Molyneux in particular was trying to get shots away at every opportunity at Altrincham.

Cant understand why Bloomfield isn't getting more minutes, the lad has never let us down in the little time he's played.

DC saying Luke Williams back in training.
Cameo appearances due for play off games.
3 fittish Luke's on the pitch at the same time shoul/could do some serious damage to the opposition.

funny though that when he does come on he causes more problems for defenders than was previously the case and wins more headers. certainly we should have seen him on 5 to 10 minutes earlier last night after they seemed to have shot their bolt.

I think we should use Bloomfield a bit more. A few minutes here and there are neither here nor there.
Not only is he a threat up front but also an asset at defending opposition set pieces.
Oates has pace to burn, maybe him coming on at the hour mark when defenders are tiring could be something to consider. He would also have a split second more to compose himself when chances fall to him.
