Total lack of energy, determination to win that game, maybe they thought it was just a matter of turning up.

No urgency, no penetration, no midfield, no idea. Apart from that it was a good performance.

The incident for their goal. Johnson on the ball, nobody making a run ahead of him, short pass to Ferguson who gives it straight back, Johnson cannons the ball of a Weymouth player who's closing him down - Odusina has a yard start on a footrace to the loose ball but gets done for pace and clips the heels of the attacker.

As I said on Saturday, very poor from him and he could easily have been sent off. Useless defending by all concerned for the free kick and goal, as it was in Weymouth's one earlier chance when their player has a free header inside the box.

They did not learn from the first free kick which was headed just over the bar. For rhe second chance Flapper Killip came off his line but was nowhere near the ball. The only laugh I had all afternoon was when Xavi, our passing expert, played their guy in for what should have been their second goal but they were so shit they ballsed it up

Yes, defending free kicks into our box with Pools holding a high line and a keeper behind them who absolutely hates coming out from between the posts make no sense. Just creates loads of space for the other team to run into as the ball comes over.

I called out Odusina on here months ago, he is the weak link. Never really rated him last season, and has seemed lost without Liddle, who dug him out on numerous occasions last season. Should have got sent off v Torquay, did get sent off at Solihull and has looked like he could get sent off in every game since.

I expect a similar sort of game at Dover.

Harsh sending off, I was always under the impression, the wearing of horrendous pink boots was only a yellow card offence.

if anyone should have been sent off it should have been odusina. moly,s was a softer sending off than the stockport lads was a few weeks ago. mind you there are too many sendings off in todays sanitised game anyway. oh for the good old days of players giving it out and taking it without the screams and antics you observe even in non league football.

Molyneux needs a break atm, a decent ref would have given a yellow for that challenge, bearing in mind the guy was fine. They made the comparison on the local news sport last night between the Blackburn defender who caught the Boro player on the face with a head high boot and our lads which was waist height, he didn't even get a yellow card and the Boro lad had to go off injured with a cut near his eye.

Yes, it didn't look like a sending off , only a yellow ( at best ) A good ref would usually take into account the fact he had only just come on as sub. Of course the ref hears and sees things the fan doesn't whether live or on tv, so sometimes that can be a factor culminating in a sending off. A lot of the sending off these days, to those of a certain vintage, seem harsh, we have benefitted from that lately, suppose its a case of swings and roundabouts.

it might not have been shown on the highlights but on the live stream the Weymouth lad's shirt was ripped at the shoulder by Luke's studs and he had to change it. Sounds like the ref at the Boro game should take his white stick onto the pitch with him.
