Got to be an improvement on our current strikers. He scored 10 in 17 games at Gateshead a couple of years ago, arguably in a better team than the one we have currently.

Lets hope he can make the difference tomorrow night as part of a front two pairing, with Grey ideally alongside him , not stuck isolated on his own.

Well, someone told me elsewhere and they heard it from a Middlesbrough based reporter.

Not really surprised, as I said before he just sounds like the kind of player we'd sign, especially in the middle of a season.

Must say , when you mentioned a source had told you it was him, I checked him out , and I came to the same conclusion, made sense for both clubs. I would imagine his dad had something to do with it as well.

To give a goal scorer at any level you need to play to his strengths and put the ball where he wants it be it over the top or in the air. Do not expect him to be alone up front doo all the dunkey work nthen score the goals as well. Remember most goal scorers hunt in pairs.

To be honest I'd like him to start the next game if possible. Certainly nothing to lose considering how poor we are going forward.

For me he has to hit the ground running, start tomorrow and score. I really dont want to hear the old " he's not yet match fit and hasn't played many games excuse, after he fails to score in his first 5 games. DC must also give him at least start with him for 3 games for him to prove himself. He has only played in the Pizza Cup and pre season friendlies this season, and worryingly has been subbed on every occasion.
