Shock horror !

E-mailed the club about this at 9.37am and got a reply back at 11.02am from new Operations Manager Phil King, nice e-mail as well, hopefully the communication channels will improve from now on, nice one Phil, welcome to the madhouse.

Did he give any idea of when the rest of us were going to officially find out, or were you appointed media officer with special responsibility for keeping the bunker in the loop, Mr H ????

I emailed the club about whether Joseph Parr were still sponsoring the club. I needed this info in order to get the go ahead to post something about J Parr and their Xmas trees on the trust website. The trust had said they couldn't allow a post advertising something not Pools related as it would set a precedent. When I got a reply saying J Parr were indeed sponsoring the club yet again this season, I forwarded it onto the trust. I asked the trust if they knew who Phil King was, they told me they believed he was the new Ops manager.

I should be appointed Media Officer like , they could do a lot worse.

If you were to become Opps Manager, you would have to sign a NDA.
So no more posts from you.(we all know what happened to Buster)

And you know how much we would all miss you.

The trust couldn’t advertise something not pools related.

Why? There’s nothing in the articles of association that prohibits that. In fact there are plenty of precedents such as sponsors.

That was my argument John, it was Pools related; it was just a case of establishing if they ( Joseph Parr ) were still sponsoring the club , the reply from the Ops Manager confirmed that was the case. Just waiting to see now if and when it will be advertised on their Facebook page.

If not I give up.

Except that’s not actually how it happened is it, Horden. You’ve decided to make the story up to something it clearly isn’t, not sure why, but not surprised coming from you. The message from the club clearly says they are still in discussions with Parr and that they’re going to announce it when it’s all agreed. HUST publishing something it has no actual detail of prior to the club doing so would just be a dick move. And you clearly don’t know what they’re on discussions about either.

Embarassing.

A bit touchy aren't we ? over something so trivial , WTF are you on about? If anything it's your post that is embarrassing. If I have got something wrong I will apologise, I am quite happy to re-post on here all the e-mails from me to the club and back, and also the conversation I had with the trust, I'm assuming it was you who was replying to my messages?

I was just rekindling my love of the trust, despite not agreeing with their plans going forward and the way it is run, hence the reason I shared the news about Joseph Parr with you, but your attitude has caused me to have a re-think.

Nope not me. Frankly I don’t give a fuck about your opinion, post whatever screen shots you want, just weird watching you try to paint HUST as bad guys when clearly the club will want to announce their own deals - once they’re ready and finalised - without someone else trying to butt in.

Paint the trust as the bad guys? I am a member ya rarf. I recommended to the trust and people on here a good place to get a good value quality Christmas tree , from a company that supported Pools last season. I really don't see what your problem is. It seems to me like you are jealous that I got an audience with the new OPs Manager that you didn't know was in place. Pathetic!

Go to bed, I think you've drunk enough for one day.

I’m not on the board of HUST, just a normal member, why would I want or need an audience with anyone who works at the club, you absolute melon?

Think it’s probably you had a bit too much to handle tonight.

Weird. Very weird.

You are still a major player on the trust, you just stepped back as you couldn't handle the pressure, that's the truth of it. If you are just a normal member, then I don't think any self-respecting organisation would be happy with your tone and response towards another member, but as I said earlier, you aren't a normal member, you just no longer have a title. You normally wouldn't say boo to a goose , so there has to be something more than to this than meets the eye, for you to come on here ranting and raving over something so trivial , as a so called normal member, it wouldn't really be your place to come on here and attempt to chastise me , and most normal members wouldn't be bothered about something so trivial anyway.

Why are you wanting the trust to promote Christmas trees ?

The firm sponsored Pools last season and are doing so again this season. I was just putting it out there for trust members, who wanted a decent Xmas tree , and also get the firm some trade into the bargain. They help our club, so we should help them in return.

I also did the same thing on here. It appears somewhere along the line I have rattled someone's cage.

The atmosphere around the club is poisonous P.O.T , lots of pics and rallying calls doing the rounds such United Together blah blah , but the reality is so much different I'm afraid. The problems is there are two groups who both fancy control of the club with leaders with big egos who each fancy a crack at the chairman's job, whilst most fans don't give a shit and just want to see a fully functioning football club that wins more games than they lose. Absolutely zero chance of any investment at the moment. Only the club can nip this in the bud. As I have said before the fans panel needs to be scrapped for a start. The Ops manager needs to get a grip and let the football club run the football club not a few fans with big egos jostling for position.
