Basically rubbishing anything the other contestants have as facilities, marking them with 1s etc like they are being asked to sleep in a hole in the ground.
Fussy eaters too at breakfast so marking that down too even though they have the bare minimum.
They want to hope their place is top notch!

It's about people being sniffy about each other's B&Bs.

When I was a lad my parents always had a weekend in Blackpool for the Illuminations. Four hours on the bus, comfort break in Kirkby Stephen and arrive in Blackpool praying that the room temperature in this year's B&B was slightly above freezing and the landlady wasn't the type who locked the front door at 9 pm.
