Jesper says,

After initial consultation with supporter group representatives it was agreed that this year the Club should recognise the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and it seemed appropriate the representation of the RAF fighter jet was front and centre of this year’s kit”.

So a Spitfire was a Jet was it? sctatchinghead
My old man was an Armourer on them and Hurricanes so it will come as a bit of a surprise to him. I suppose the prop on the front was just to confuse Jerry.

Dom scurr pointed out on Twitter last night that the club did not mention a charitable donation. So did a few fans and were roundly jumped on by the usual Group of clowns. The former poster Leeds Poolie pointing out with a screen shot where the money goes without realising his screen shot was 3 years old.

The shirt is truly awful and looks like it was designed with the aim of hitting the towns brexit voting gammon fist waving population the most. Who designed it farage?

It’s an easy fix for the club to confirm that the proceeds go to charity...literally a reply to a tweet would do it. Yet nothing is forthcoming...

The plane on the shirt was built in 1943 so I have been informed.

Plenty on it alright , a plane, map of Europe, union jack flag ... tacky, tasteless and insensitive IMO. Still hardly surprising from a club with a history of rarely getting things right.

Each to their own though.

Good old SLR, mind you no crawling out onto the wings to adjust gas regulator... or the ones fitted with photon torpedos and a cloaking shield.

Very appropriate , as our season could've dive bombed by then.

I have a cunning plan, it's this, pick the right players and play them in the right formation , and repeat.

Extra shooting practice after training wouldn't be a bad idea either, see if we can hit the target first, then once that is achieved, try and beat the keeper.

Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes."

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea when the shirts are expected? Placed an order for a couple to spread the Pools word up here.

Official site says O’Neill’s have advised they’ll be with the club start of December, so I’d assume you might hear something next week.
