Back from the nether regions of the world. After a 30 hour journey over the course of yesterday and today I am truly fooked! Incidentally, I came across the grave of a real life hero.

No, no, I'm not going to say it. I'm not!

My lad loves Shackleton. He's applied to Birmingham University because he reckons he can live in Shackleton Hall, very nice it is too. Unfortunately for him I've checked the prices and he's more likely to end up in the Scott of the Antarctic tented area.

A remarkable man who endured amazing hardship to protect his men. Management style is studied for leadership qualities today. Heard a lecture about him recently and was struck by how unlucky he was but still an amazing man

Yet, the Bunker remains his greatest achievement.
