To stand an outside chance of a playoff spot, we must beat the others scrambling for a chance to join EFL div 2.

Ridiculous that after plenty of dodgy results we are only two points adrift of the play offs.

Still think we should have concentrated on the Durham Senior Cup.

Best game I've seen all season, two loanees were a class above, Feather and Liddle good game and even Donaldson looked a decent player in amongst that.

Solid win. Played some good stuff at times and good to have Toure back. Would have been nice to see Molyneaux earlier as dunno how he will get match fit played 1 minute here and there.

Were gonna need Beeney to come.for more crosses too as our back line is pretty small.

Good game and good performance. New right back very impressive and I thought Liddle was outstanding. Keep this run going and we have a shout. Well played Pools.

I thought they were all outstanding even Donaldson stepped up to the plate. No excuses now we have seen what we can do and need to maintain it and give a little more, then who knows we could make the you know whats!!!

Good all round performance my only concern was the goalkeeper not convinced to date. Got away with a couple of howlers today especially when the new fullback headed off the line when he dropped a simple cross.

We have only actually lost 5 out the last 20 League games our form is very close to top seven in terms of points per game. In that time we’ve also won away at the team 3rd in our League and drew away then beaten at home the team 2nd in League Two in the FA Cup. We are not that far away. This is the first time since we have been in this League that we’ve had a real opportunity with 14 games left. We need a run and four games unbeaten is the start of one. Even 3rd place are only on 53 points we would need a hell of a run for that obviously. We have played all the top three twice as well. The amount of points we have thrown away this season is so frustrating though. Hopefully things are starting to click at the right time. Something like 8-2-4 or 7-5-3 from the last 14 gives us a sniff of 7th.

It was the thrown away wins I was referring to. Lots of draws that we were leading in. To be honest I haven’t analysed the figures, maybe it just feels that way.

Yes that is the massive frustration, 17 points lost from winning positions.

Our home form under Challinor has seen a big improvement, just a shame our away form went the other way. Will settle for a draw v Barnet although with their games in hand, it's really a game we could do with winning.

Anybody else think there's a resemblance between Keena and Luke James, Looks and playing style?

Except he looks like scoring, yes there is a resemblance, like a bigger brother.

You've never seen them on the same pitch.......
maybe they've faked Luke's injury and put him on some of Messi's growth hormone tablets.

Oh! and changed his voice a bit.

Barnet's last 5 results WDDDW, so a draw wouldn't be a poor result.

Bromley, Boreham Wood, & Solihull are our only 3 away games against teams currently above us

Even if you take half of the points we've squandered from winning positions we'd move up to 4th in the table. Frustrating but hey ho.

I'll echo the comments that it was a very solid performance on Saturday. I thought Liddle and Odusina took a little bit to settle in but for the main part were excellent. Wasn't a surprise to see their centre forward get hauled off on 65 minutes.

I thought Stockport would have offered a bit more to be honest. In terms of gilt edged chances I can only really recall the one that came from Beeney spilling that cross.

Well played Pools :-D

best i,ve winessed in the 8 games i have seen live this season. even the ref was decent. lets hope pools can push on from that with the minimum of 6 points from the next 3 games. only downside to the game was it should have been more than 2 nil.
