A taxi driver was telling me Wetherspoons have applied for planning permission to build a new boozer where Coasters used to be at Seaton. Anyone heard anything about this? Would be a great spot potentially.

This one’s been doing the rounds for years. But I see no problem with it whatsoever, it could be an improvement.
Unless of course the proposed performance area wins the day for the site and sand swept paved areas is thought more attractive.

they have tried taking over everything else so why not seaton. might increase their fan base if they did.

I can remember the big sack slide n donkeys on the beach at Seaton back in the 80s.
