Brownlee brothers

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Are they the worst adverts ever, because when they came out we were asking who are they. To be fair I find athletics as exciting as watching someone plaster.

He should write an email to the British Athletics Heirarchy and demand they thank him.
I'd recommend a more stealthy plan than googling 'afternoon tea dog'.

I’m not.
Some anonymous (to me) athlete talking up turnips for 20p gets me asking why? Is he an expert in the field, what value does his endorsement bring unless he’s got a degree in Turnip Husbandry and agronomics it’s like getting an endorsement on non ferrous welding from Zippy and Bungle.
I just find it boring. Like watching Astroturf grow, but without the glamour.

Solved that problem, but thanks for the offer. Anyway.... compared to my pack of Henry’s they’re shit. I’ve built Airfix kits as a kid with more durability. Mind you, there’s no propellers or undercart on a Dyson.
