Has left Harrogate seemingly released.

Strange that he left us for a deal that was less than year long, I wonder if their was more to it as in the reasons he left Pools?

it certainly looks like he couldn,t get away quick enough at the time. being a bench warmer with bates might not have helped but we,ll never know. having a betty,s tea room might have been the deciding factor.

I have some sympathy for him - remember that he was on the verge of a move to Portsmouth (for a big jump in pay) before Harrison stopped it............

I find that very hard to believe for a few reasons.

He’s not good enough for Portsmouth
Harrison even if he wanted to would have little or no say at that or any point on who stayed or went, we were being asset stripped and were willing to get anyone off the wage bill who another club wanted especially in if any sort of fee was involved.

Being the main ones.

PJ, maybe you need to work on your memory as much as you do on your opinions.

A Hartlepool Mail article and one that says "its rumoured" is hardly backing up your case Brian

Thanks Tree. That was the only thing that I could find quickly. But you're not wrong.

So you seriously believe that Craig Harrison at the end of January last year had the power to block a player leaving the club when we were on the verge of administration? Cloud cuckoo land stuff that.

I don’t need to work on my memory I remember the rumour at the time and thought it was a little far fetched then.
