Numbers a bit disappointing as there were 3,400 Poolies at the Dover game and only 3,453 today despite win against Dover, decent draw at Barnet, big game and cheap tickets.

Despite this, great atmosphere and result but I expect Raj would be disappointed more didn’t respond to the generous gesture.

Brilliant numbers for a non league team in the bottom half that's had home sickness for about a decade.
Plus we probably top of the league for half time beer sales.

Boro fan here. 3 of us went today and had a great time although I don't think the offer was that well advertised in the first place.

Really impressed with Pools. And a quality atmosphere. Not sure if it's like that every week but the lads at the end of that stand get the place going. Livelier than the Riverside at the moment.

If I recall correctly the original save pools day crowd wasn't a sell out either?

It was apart from the away end.

I agree yesterday’s numbers were a little disappointing but those there got right behind the team, which is great compared to the atmosphere just a few months ago. Nobody is talking about anger and negitivity anymore.

The disappointing bit for me was the reaction at the end of the game when "the lads" tried to get across the car park to confront the Wrexham fans.
Some nasty scenes - not that the police were totally innocent - but completely unnecessary .

People sat round me were amazed when the attendance was announced, looking across at the Cyril Knowles Stand it was nearly full, town end, Neale Cooper Stand similar. The Rink end looked over 50% full as well, maybe Pools being a bit ‘liberal’ with the figures’ ?

The ground didn't look that full to me - there was loads of room in the Mill House standing, apart from the section closest to the Rink End. Shade under 4,000 looks spot on, and a good turn out for a mid-table side at the fag end of the season, even with the reduced price match day tickets.

For a National League fixture the crowds good. Nothing to moan about, good atmosphere, three points in the bag and a good performance in the end.
Just enjoy it.

Basically everyone in the town end and everyone in the millhouse standing would be able to fit into the seats with a few hundred seats spare that would of been some tight squeeze.

could not make it but at least the majority who turned up would be proper fans and not a load of tourists who know nothing of the side or what colours they play in. sit or stand next to a group of them its a bloody long afternoon listening to em and watching em tapping a phone all afternoon. one reason i did not go as my luck i,d be next to em but sounds i would have been fine.

Not going till there's only the people who went to Bournemouth in the 80's there.

Catch-21 innit
