Some Leeds fans think they'll struggle and they reckon Pools will be up there....that'll do for me!!!

With a few additions i think we could challenge at the top, but i would be happy to establish ourselfs as a div 1 team and finish mid table.

No idea. Waiting for the dust to settle, then see who goes and who comes in. Only then can I make a prediction.

A season similar to Carlisle's would do me, There or thereabouts
For those with that slight element of doubt, Have faith
Northampton,Leyton Orient,Cheltenham & Carlisle all stayed in the division above and did a pretty succesful job of it!

I have faith in Wilson and hopefully the odd astute signing will pay off

A top ten place or maybe sneak into the play offs just like Yeovil did this season.

Penalties should be banned both for and against Pools as it sure cost us a title.

Both in the top six. Let's not think about playoff finals just yet though

if we can keep attendances up over 5000 ( which should be achievable with more fans in the away end ) and be competetive that will be good enough for me. particularly if we hold onto the likes of dimi, liddle, nelson, sweeney, clark, brown etc. those lads are all young enough to form the nucleus of a championship side in 2 or 3 years time.

I disagree about Sweeney - I really don't think that he is good enough but hope he proves me wrong.

A lot will depend on who stays, goes and comes in over the summer, which is an unknown at the moment.... however assuming we keep most of the key performers (exp. Nelson and Clark) there's no reason why we shouldn't be looking at the top half. Beyond that it's all up in the air - too much depends on who brings in the right players over the summer, who gets them to gel, that sort of thing. Last time I would have taken survival quite happily, however we have players out there who have performed at that level before and if we can slim down the quantity in favour of quality then we could have another very good season.

A few people have touched on the ky to next season, who comes and who goes. Danny did a good job working with what he inherited and made a couple of good signings along the way to push us into the promotion positions.

However I think the mark of a really good manager is how he prepares for next season and I'm looking forward to seeing the shape of the squad in a couple of months time.

With the right signings I reckon top half of the table is realistic, anything else will be a bonus, but I think the points difference between top half and play offs will be minimal so who knows.

We have a lot to look forward to, I hope fans are realistic and patient with expectations.

15th upwards is my first target, anything above that will be a bonus.

There appears to be a gulf opening up between League One and League Two, this is evident as three of last season relegated teams have gone straight back up, the other one finished fourth! What does that say about League Two?

With two or three quality additions, we should keep this seasons momentum going and do quite well next year.

ultimately we [I] dont want another season in league 2, so avoiding relegation for me

but we could well be good enough to challenge the top half, so lets see eh?!

Ask me when we've got 50 points. That's what I'll be looking for. Only Scunthorpe took the piss this season, the bottom 15 teams were very very ordinary and we've been playing Third Division football for the last six months.

But softly softly eh??

I agree with ADG(!) and madjohn on this one. the squad as it stands is not good enough to challenge the top end,but thats scotty's fault not wilson's. I'm looking forward to this summer for a lot of reasons but especially after the miserable summer we endured last year.but the comings and goings will be interesting. the best quote for me was when Wilson said "if you want better results you have to have better players"
can't wait to see it happen Danny

Bollocks to you lot!
We start where we left off before Scotty.
No way I'm accepting any less than the two play offs we had under Cooper. And he didn't have much of a squad to choose from.
