Just a pity they are not in a position to rely on universal credit

The Press seem to forget that we are in this shite because folk lied to us - folk like Johnson - shits like Johnson who folk still (mysteriously) listen to - folk like Johnson who earns £'000,000 a year from rags like the Telegraph.............

I do have some sympathy for May - given a bad hand of cards and has been playing against lying shites, here and in Europe.

Come the end of today we'll see Bojo (and the rest of his parasitic family) talking with extra long words, convincing us that their way is the best/ only way..................

At least it's getting close to opening time,.....

Have you ever noticed that whenever Rees Mogg or Boris open their mouth no facts are forthcoming its just a series of slogans, chants and incorrect statements.(Trump clones)

If either of these two plus the rest of their anarchists supporters said they had now become Pools supporter i would be straight down the A66 to get my Darlo season ticket.

Sir Humphry said this in the 80s!

Sir Humphrey: Minister, Britain has had the same foreign policy objective for at least the last five hundred years: to create a disunited Europe. In that cause we have fought with the Dutch against the Spanish, with the Germans against the French, with the French and Italians against the Germans, and with the French against the Germans and Italians. Divide and rule, you see. Why should we change now, when it's worked so well?
Hacker: That's all ancient history, surely?
Sir Humphrey: Yes, and current policy. We had to break the whole thing [the EEC] up, so we had to get inside. We tried to break it up from the outside, but that wouldn't work. Now that we're inside we can make a complete pig's breakfast of the whole thing — set the Germans against the French, the French against the Italians, the Italians against the Dutch... The Foreign Office is terribly pleased; it's just like old times.
Hacker: But surely we're all committed to the European ideal?
Sir Humphrey: [chuckles] Really, Minister.
Hacker: If not, why are we pushing for an increase in the membership?
Sir Humphrey: Well, for the same reason. It's just like the United Nations, in fact; the more members it has, the more arguments it can stir up, the more futile and impotent it becomes.
Hacker: What appalling cynicism.
Sir Humphrey: Yes... We call it diplomacy, Minister.

you would have thought he,s speech was made before the EU in our out referendum and not for the common market one. always wondered why it was probebly only one subject him and the likes of enoch powell agreed upon although for some same and different reasons. for me i,ll go with peter shore.

Maybe yes maybe not at the time but the world economy is much different now.
I really cant see an end to this.
All factions seem to think they can "win" this but if that becomes the case a very large number of people will be very pissed off.
Even with a peoples vote or general election this could rumble on for years.

I'm completely pissed off with the endless political shenanigans. The Tories aren't fit to govern because they're too interested in internal blood letting but they've got the Munsters propping them up. Labour are playing a game by waiting to let the Tories kill each other when they should be putting a clear position out. The EU is being fairly reasonable in the full knowledge that the Tories are hostage to their own loons and some Northern Irish bigots so they'll just reject any compromise anyway. That way they can make an example of the UK but it will be the UK's fault.

In the meantime, if you're British in another EU country or EU in Britain you haven't got a clue what the future holds. Same is true of you run a business that involves any size of supply chain or has a mobile workforce.

You would like to think so , but if Labour get in, it will be by a tight margin, therefore it will be difficult for them to implement any policies that will bring real improvement. Still an end to austerity would be more than welcome.
