It doesn`t look like we spend we much time on these, I think we could score more if we took some time to develop a strategy, we have decent headers of the ball but fail to connect to anything and lack a decent ball in.

Most of the over the top balls yesterday to the front two were over hit, needed a 9 iron stroke with backspin rather than a 7.

The ball spent more time on the ground in the first half and was relatively successful, but after Donaldson's departure the long ball became the norm.
Most of the teams who come here now have a core of hulking Easter Island statues, big, but not very agile, so the last tactic to use is the long ball which is playing into their limited abilities 'portfolio' every time.
In fact I'm convinced it's the same team every week.

No real height in the team or players who can win headers man on man , so rarely going to score from set pieces.

Exactly, but the experts on the terrace demand the ball hoofed into the box every time. So why not play it to our strengths and keep it on the ground for the free kicks.
