We looked flat from the off. Also hope Donaldson isn’t to badly injured as Richardson simply didn’t look good enough.

Need some creativity badly. Hopefully Williams 'tonsiltitus' clears up before Christmas.

We were ok till Donaldson had to go off. Richardson was static.
We went really close several times and their keeper kept them in the fame. Disappointing result, but early days still.

We needed Cassidy on the bench today he would have torn a new arshole in that lumbering centre half of theirs, he gives us another option. Also thought we finally got a decent referee and assistants for a change.

He nutted the back of Nobles head in the tunnel at half time apparently.

We weren't at our best today but didn't really need to be, we still had more than enough chances to win the game, we just need to be more clinical and we'd have been out of sight by half time

Donaldson has really grown into the wing back role, hopefully Richardson can do the same. He's still only a young lad but he just needs to be more confident in possession, it looked like he couldn't wait to get rid of the ball today.

Richardson wasn’t great but as you are alluding to it took Donaldson a few games to get used to it. I think Kitching is becoming more comfortable with it as well, particularly as he is adapting to being almost like a target-man wing-back. It is certainly not the easiest role to play

If Donaldson is out for a while I can see Kioso moving to right wing back when Davies is fit, he played there in some of the friendlies and looked good.

Shame Donaldson was injured but i thought Richardson to replace was a poor decision.
Lad looked like he was not understanding the role. Hawkes,Woods or Newton would have been better options.
Opposition now seem to to managing James and Muir.
But the pork and apple pie i had this morning compensated.

If Richardson is on the bench the only player he is going to replace in the eleven is Donaldson to get on. The issue would be if the lad is actually good enough which from what have seen he probably isn’t but if you don’t think he should have come on when the the right back got injured why is he on the bench!?

I’d forgot Hawkins even still played for us, he is a better option at right wing back than Richardson to be fair even though he’s a very limited player is he fit?

I would have rather us gone to a back 4 today, when Donaldson went off. Like has been said, Richardson hasn't impressed there yet and it's a hard position to play without a run of games to get used to it.

We have a lot of players not in the first team but around the squad that aren't match sharp and haven't played any football. They're not getting any time off the bench and, to be fair, when they do they slow the game down and we concede. But we need to start working them into game. They need to get used to our tactics and they need to be match fit so that we can rely on them when they're needed. Richardson and Dinanga looked miles off the pace when they came on.

Also, if Donaldson is out for a while I'd play Hawkins right wing back. He's the king of running about loads and getting himself in everyone's face. He won't be as good as Donaldson, but I think he'll do a job.

Bates seems to think you should score from every chance you create which is just wrong. Why we sat back and tried to see the game out when we were clearly superior is a mystery

That said we had a bucketful of chances, it's just taking them.

We just dont look like scoring goals at home, its going to keep costing us. We are not far away from being a really decent team but cant see us challenging playing the way we are at home.
