Spare a thought for the poor local journo.

He doesn't have any real news to write about till the retained list is announced, so is reduced to a drip feed of daily snippets of information from last week's press conference masquerading as breaking news.

That lucky bastad Loughlin only has to contribute one or two Pools articles a week to the Echo, so got to say it all in one go.

No he doesn’t.

I’m a bit disappointed we are staying local though as I’d booked an open round World ticket on the off chance the Accrington friendly was going to be staged in Los Angeles or Melbourne.
