Just been reading a Guardian article about a cricket initiative in Hartlepool, aiming to bring people together and encouraging leadership. Sounds a really positive thing.
So sad to read that kids just refuse to mix with others of different backgrounds though. Adults are normally the problem in my experience.
To be totally honest, living away as I do, I hadn’t realised the extent of nationalities living in the town. I get back plenty but my parents live up Park Road, which isn’t exactly Babylon.
Anyway, good luck to everyone running the sessions and hope it makes a difference.

Sounds like a great project, its a shame there is such division amongst kids though. They must have been taught to be like that, my observations of kids are that they don't give a shit about different appearance etc until they get influenced.
