Been injured for a while I believe, played a couple of U23 games for Villa so I imagine it's just for game time

Could never understand the clamour over Tshibola, never rated him. Nor Josh Laurent or Jake Gray. All very average League Two players. It's no surprise to see them all falling down the leagues.

I agree about Laurent and Gray but I thought Tshibola was really good while at Pools. He played through injuries which may have effected his game.

Gray was alright, Tish was a class above for his age.

Tshibola was a class act imo, probabaly the closest thing we have had to Tinkler in regards to a player you think could probabaly run cente-mid on his own. Always seemed to be in the right place to disrupt the opposition etc and still remember the game he never lost the ball once.

Was never overly impressed with Gray - disapeared too often for my liking but thought Laurent could be something, his strength always made him stand out for his age. I think if he gets a couple of full seasons of regular football then he will do alright out of the game.

Not even close :-D

Don't get me wrong, I think he looked okay in League Two, but couldn't see him doing it any higher up the pyramid. He took too long to get the ball out of his feet. Same with Laurent, they needed to take two or three touches before releasing the ball, and you aren't afforded that time and space in the Championship. Gray was just a poor Tony Sweeney IMO.

Laurent looked different class...against Billingham and I honestly thought he'd do well but I was hugely disapointed with him in the league when he played.

Tshibola has gone on to better things, Aston Villa paid a decent sum for him and he's had a few loans since but I don't think they've given up on him, just allowing him to play regularly after injury.
