If they've accepted five grand then I expect administration within 24/48 hours.

Somebody might come in for the manager hopefully.

Hope Rachael puts the money in an escrow account or it goes to the trust for future use. Why should people give money to the club idle what they receive is undisclosed and where it is spent no-one knows.

I agree but it’s not going to happen. It’s going to go to Sage and never be seen again. People are clutching at straws now, hoping a consortium will magically appear.

Pam gave the old spiel about not disclosing the fee because then it affects our bargaining power when signing players.....you would think if they were genuinely looking to raise x amount of pounds to stave off administration then it would be essential to disclose the figure. Unless of course you plan to pocket what you can and run.

Rachel should just tell her the money hasn't been processed yet everytime she gets asked.

Or simply tell Pam to fuck off. The money was raised to 'Help save OUR football club Hartlepool United'. Save it from what? Inept owners? Conmen?

Giving the current owners more money is doing anything but saving the club so I'd be demanding a refund if that was the intention.

Undisclosed fee so clubs don’t know what we have to spend yet we’re under an embargo?

Great logic from Pam.

Does anyone care that players are being sold off? Or that they being sold for so little?

I'm past caring and that's no reflection on the players who've gone. There's no enjoyment in supporting Pools in the state it's in and I sense we'll be put out of our misery imminently.

Just spent two nights in the Premier Inn opposite the Wrexham ground and must say that Deverdics has made a good move. Nice town with cathedral, university, decent ground and a decent team. Selling one of our better players for a 'nominal fee' was a disgrace. He was a proven performer at NL level with Dover and will be again at Wrexham. It is the HUFC manager that ruined him playing him at left back.
I notice he went straight into the Wrexham side today that won away at Guiseley.

It looks a bit shit to be honest just like a normal church;

http://www.wrexhamcathedral.org.uk/

I'm a bit disappointed in that, I'm not even going to bother googling the University now after that.

Still I think it was still probably a major factor in making Deverdics mind up.

Bloody hell ! Wrexham must of undergone some transformation since I was last there. Wales version of Mansfield I would of thought.

The university actually own wrexhams ground and lease it back to the club. They are next door to each other

More shocked they bought him after the performance he put in against them a couple of weeks ago. Won’t be missed.

He will. His set pieces alone will, we are utterly shite so any half decent player will be missed even a non League journeyman. That is how far we have fallen in a nutshell really.

Give over, he can’t even beat the first man when he takes a corner. He’s scored a few free kicks. He’s shite, like the rest of the team.

None of rest of the team have scored a few free kicks. He’s not great like I said, he’s a non league journeyman but he will be missed, and we barely ever played him in his best position, if ever.

He had more assists than the rest of the fuckers put together. If him and Munns had been used properly as attacking midfielders I believe we'd be much better off than we are now. But of course fatty Harrison knows best, he's got coaching badges you know.

Anyone following Pools this season would realise that Harrison reduced half decent players to non entities and clearly Wrexham know that. Why else would they have put him straight into the team? Used properly Deverdics is capable of performing really well at NL level. We will just have to see how things go for him in the next couple of months to see who is right.

bet he does not play for wrexham at left back. if that what coaching badges gets you, you,ve just wasted the time in getting em in the first place. munns at centre half next.

Concurring ! Deverdics was average for us, not as bad as the rest, though he was a weak link at left back, as I would be if I was put in goal for a football team. He has done it at this level and due to him getting out in time, before being destroyed by HUFC, will do it again

Rev, can you explain how a shite player playing for one of the poorest teams in the league can be thought good enough to be given an 18 month contract and walk straight into the team currently topping the table?

I suspect that like many Pool's fans you fail to fully appreciate the damage that Harrison has done to the team and subsequently the players. Proven performers like Deverdics do not suddenly become shite players, it is the management that has created shite performances.

100% totally agree with that comment made there like its the management that is creating these shite players and making them even worse than when they came into the club.

I agree. The number of players who've come on loan, looked good and within a few weeks look different players.

Of course the problems at the club go deeper than Harrison but there can be no doubt he has played a major part in the clubs further demise since relegation. His portrayal as the innocent 'piggy in the middle' amongst the crap that is currently going on may have fooled some of the fans but any prospective new owners will surely see through this charade and (one way or another) remove this fraudster who is getting away with blue murder impersonating a competent football manager - and being handsomely paid for his 'efforts'.

How about Nathan Thomas before he got injured? Mansfield reject to one of the most highly rated players in League Two? Just one of the half dozen players signed by Hignett for nothing and sold on at a profit for the asset strippers? Higgy is a talented coach, he just had the misfortune to find himself working for Coxberg.

Clubs like HUFC often need to sell players to survive financially. Harrison has reduced the assets of the club to virtually zero and hence in my mind is responsible in part for the financial mess we are in. The only player worth anything now is Loach as goalkeeper is the one position that the manager's strategies and tactics have no affect on.
