Heard it on the drive over to the game. See the 'club up for sale' thread - she confirmed wages for December were paid but made no promises beyond this month and committed Sage to nothing more than 'working for a smooth transition.' Fine if a buyer is found in the next month or so, after that don't count any imaginary chickens would be my guess.

What was interesting was that when the interviewer asked about the Trust not seeing the books she made a feeble reference to the club's financial year only finishing 6 months ago - as if that's any excuse - then kept referring to being in contact with Supporters Direct. HUST a big no-no in Pamspeak, it seems.

Also, that of course prospective buyers would be able to see the books as part of due diligence.

She's in it for herself..Football the only place where you can place a bet and get your money back if it goes down.. Wonder how much of a wage she is pulling for doing the job too?

Sage are Property Developers, wasn't Pam a Sports Agent ? They got involved because they thought they were going to make a quick buck. Didn't work out, tough these things happen in business.
In the 12 months they have been involved they have got us relegated from the Football League for the first time ever, brought in Dave Jones under some very shady arrangement along with a load of coaches they dismissed but still seem to be paying. They brought in a head of recruitment who not only oversaw that but also the retained list, the hiring of Craig Harrison, and the signing of a load of donkeys and crocks. Pam claims the club is now much more professional, but they have run out of money half way through a season. Poolsplayer subscription is a joke and don't even get me started on the club shop. As for the manager and his coached, they wouldn't get a job at any other club in this league.
Whatever she says on the radio the players were told their wages would be paid to the end of this month only, and Pam admits they have been affected by off the field problems.
Anyone who thinks they have buyers lined up might want to remember she said the same thing at the Trust Meeting in May.
Sorry about the rant but the sooner these people are gone the better they clearly know nothing about football or running a football club.

Sounded like a bloody amateur to me, you know, you know , you know.

I' m sure she said at one stage, unless I misheard her " As soon as we can get the WRONG owners in " a genuine mistake or a fraudiuent slip?.

Of course she is a football amateur horden, she freely admits to that as does the faceless Blackedge - there no way that a business person with an ounce of knowledge of professional football would have appointed the numpty Harrison and give him carte Blanche to effectively fcuk the club. However, having said that the biggest culprit for the club’s current plight could well be the prat who insists on titling himself ‘Director-of Recruitment’
