I like him as a man and think he did loads of good things for Pools but Russ Green was actually getting loads of praise for making the takeover happen he must be cringing right now, he then had the same praise heaped on him for attracting the odious pair of Goldberg and Coxall. I wonder if his remit was just to get rid of the club to anyone interested? Either way his time at the club is completely tarnished by all of this for me which is a shame as he is a good bloke.

I don't think that Russ Green made the decision, he was the front man. At that time nobody of any level made any decision outside the team without the sign off of Ken Hodcroft.

I realise that but he’s been made to look the fall guy in all of this, it was Hodcroft who was made to look like saviour as well when he pulled the plug. Amazing really when about five minutes digging online told you these blokes should have been nowhere our football club.

And if I remember rightly we took a load of stick for calling out TMH and even more stick for uncovering Coxberg.
