I really enjoyed it yesterday, I'm not afraid to admit.

Man City's attacking play is about as good as I've seen, De Bruyne is a class above and just seems to get better. Pep has the team playing how he wants now, hopefully other teams are influenced.

Palace beating Chelsea and Watford beating Arsenal. I liked Gary Cahill's embarrassed interview after and also Troy Deeney's comments about how he found Arsenal wanting after 'seeing who wants it'.

The only downside was again a Jose Mourinho team. For a team with a £75 million striker and two £30+ million wingers they only managed a single shot on goal against one of the most suspect defences and goalkeepers in the league. Jose's excuse was he 'didn't have a bench' which is unfair if the subs (which included Mata and Rashford) had to stand the whole game.

That second goal from city was probably the best passage of Football your ever likely to see.

The weight of pass n vision from KDB yesterday was absolutely perfect.

Don't get all the fawning over City, of course they're good, their team cost about £500m and has had a year or so to settle.

So your argument is money guarantees success? It's an invalid argument really, the price they paid for any player doesn't mean he's that good, more a reflection on how much they wanted him and the ridiculous current market thanks to the Sky deal.

I would like to see them give the youngsters more of a chance like at Tottenham but I suspect that will come once he's actually won something, which is surely a matter of time.

My argument is why is anyone surprised? Money doesn't guarantee it but when it happens and you've spent half a BILLION quid on the team then it's hardly a Leicester level of surprise is it?

I'd be expecting this level of play as a minimum for what they've spent and anything less as a failure.

Who's surprised? I'm just enjoying it as a neutral as I'm sure everyone who's not playing against them is.

A lot of people argued that Pep has been found out as the Premier League is much harder. Time will tell how successful he will be but his team are as exciting to watch as any I've seen.

Cant believe the money some of them are on if that is typical of what gets served up.

I often say the same about Pools players too!

It doesn't, but it's a lot easier with money. I can recall no situation where money made it worse...... and that's what the Preimetship is all about.

Shakespeare sacked after eight Premier League games this season!

If losing to Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal is a sacking matter, there will be a few more worried managers.

It's a classic case of rich foreign owners with no idea how to run a football club.

Sacking Ranieri the season after they won the League was unforgivable. Did they seriously imagine Leicester were going to be contenders every year?

Shakespeare walks away with a small fortune as the price of his disloyalty.

Sacking Ranieri kept Leicester in the Premiership last year.

Likely they have a manager of higher profile than Shakespeare lined up now.

Nigel Walter Mitty Shithead would be perfect too and he's employed by Leicester's owners at their Belgian club. His only downfall at a club of Leicester's size was his inability to control his temper. Big Sam has his flaws too but both are capable of keeping teams up.
