Maybe were going to play 2-2-8?

Would much prefer to see some centre backs brought in.

Must be one of the biggest squads in our history?

Is he on loan or a permanent signing?

Lets be honest we have now played most of the top teams and we havent conceded that many goals even with the defenders we already have how ever if you take franks goals out we are not scoring goals.
Lets just see how the 2 new lads get on at least they do provide attacking options.
Hope he plays Deverdics in midfield tomorrow night and hopefully he can contribute a lot more to the attacking side of our team.

He is another permanent signing. We definitely needed more attacking options as Dimpson and Rodney are good prospects but have proven they can't be relied on right now to provide the goals we need! Hopefully these two new lads can do the job!

I think Rodney in particular could benefit from a loan at a lower club to hopefully get him scoring some goals and get a bit of belief and confidence in front of goal as he currently doesn't seem sure of himself when he gets a chance.

If ledger comes back and using Donnelly through the middle, we have plenty of defensive cover and we haven't exactly been shipping goals so far this season!

Both are untried in professional football, they must be on peanuts. Thorne is a three month contract, there's not much to lose really. We just need to get through to Cassidy being back, then I would imagine one of them or both of them won't have their contracts extended. Unless they hit half a dozen goals in the next 6 weeks.

Honestly can’t really see the logic in signing two young strikers in a week - fair enough get one in to help whilst Cassidy is injured, but seems a bit tight on the likes of Simpson, Oates and Rodney who will most likely move down the pecking order rather than giving them a chance in a run of games

Will this bring an end to the crazy one up front? Surely this can only be inbred from the Boro academy and our players don't have the time or pace to succeed playing this game.

Also worrying that our most dangerous forward Rodney will slip further down the order. The stats don't look good for the new signings but worth a gamble as they are only young. Let's hope they get support up front.

Until Rodney scores a hat trick every game like every who starts ahead of him. Then there's no place for Rodney and for playing 2 people upfront in the same post code along each other. You are mental sir and should be locked up for the good of UEFA coaching badge ambassadors

I remember back in the good ol' days of August where we played 2 up top and got 2 points from 6... we then made the disastrous change to 1 up top and all of a sudden things turned to shit.

Who is 'the crazy one upfront'? I like the idea of unleashing a completely mad bastard to terrorise defences but I thought all our strikers seemed fairly level-headed.

Don't talk sense, it's not like we've only lost 1 of the last 6 playing 1 up front is it?

"Always change a winning formation."
"If it ain't broke, fix it anyway."

These are the basic rules of good management. And I forgot, "If in doubt, pass it across your own box or try to dribble with it."

Just seen this new Lad in The asda. Looking confused in the isles: no chance he’d tackle the self serv tbh.

He probably wouldn’t even do his own packing

If it was Pot Noodles or Fray Bentos pies get rid of him. If it was quinoa get him straight into the starting 11. Forest Green went up by using vegans.

There's no meat in Pot Noodles!

The boo-boys will certainly be in full voice after that but I think it can easily take a week to adjust to a new supermarket and start moving round the aisles at a decent pace. You can only really judge him on a full shop done in mid-October.

I suspect not but I want players that live a fully vegan lifestyle and say a firm but sensitive 'No' to all additives, E numbers, and any food products that use an animal or meat related name. Even Animal biscuits and Lion Bars are wrong.

A bit of mindfulness would go a long way too.

I have been saying that about Deverdics for ever and a day, poolie. In addition, what does it say about Adams? He was supposedly fit against Eastleigh i.e. on the bench so why not play the pair of them in their natural positions? Admittedly, I've only seen Adams once (at Maidenhead) but he had a decent game and was certainly impressive when he got forward.

Hopefully he will gain in confidence and awareness in time to step up to the plate for the Christmas eve trolley cram.

I've written the lad off already. Pro footballers should and are taught at academy level how to use self service in the ASDA! FACT and I do believe its in the UEFA coaching guide.

Maybe it's like when Father Ted and Dougel got lost in that lasses knicker shop and couldn't find their way out?
